War is always sad

shame on you. I want you all to remember something. The US Soldiers are young men and women who had no more choice to go to war than any of the Pakistani Army. Wanting the death of young people like them is wrong whether or not they are with you.

Yeah yeah yeah... if it weren't for the ass whopping they received, they would have been glorifying the wars that killed so many innocent Afghans and Iraqis, their attitude changed because their blood was also spilt, otherwise nobody gives a sh1t...

You are so right. What little freedom and democracy there is we have to fight to keep and its honourable people of China who can help maintain balance and spread peace in the world.

Very well said ... When the Americans (I mean the civilians) faced the USSR and $hitting in their pants of the consequences of their hawkish elements in attempting a war with the other super power, we use to have those peace loving Americans .. going out on the street and doing protests .. fighting with the rioting police, doing concerts of peace & so on ...


Peace lovers like me (anti-war), I was shocked, flabergasted and utterly devastated when USA carpet bombed the Afghans with the largest conventional bombs in their arsenal ... yeah .. not only human beings, animals, plants, atomosphere, whatever ... everything just evaporated.

No real sense of peace was wanted by any one in the world, no peace rally for the Afghan civilians by my US counterparts .. Glitch .. no reaction from the Western anti-war patrons !

Iraq is only now because the Arabs are crying .. otherwise .. who really cared when civilian Afghans were killed even more ruthlessly than we kill mosquitos.

In the end it comes out that when the factor of fear from your opponent is there, than only the peace lovers take out their white doves, so that when their govt. does a retreate they they have a "mask" for their face saving.

I really wonder at times whats so special about this mythical land called Afghanistan? Its the most under developed (actually no development) place on earth, the people have no say in world policsis or economy, have nothing to offer to the rest of the world (except cocaine), have no vision, no mission, are not united, are not connected to the rest of the world ... its desert all over

Yet the 'super powers' keep testing all their weapons, conventional and non-conventional, on this land and its people? Why can't the super power face north korea? or iran? or Pakistan? or turkey? ... why all their might is for the arm less, poor, illetrate, helpless simply bcoz they don't wanna walk on the i-pod path like the rest of the world?

Shame on any such super power and the nation that believe of herself a super power
