no yara, I know this Qasidah for about a dacade now.
Professor Wali mohammad Razi wrote a dozen articles about it around 2001.(with title "me Bainam")
I googled and got various versions of it, but concluded it as "just a hoax".
and yes, I don't know Zaid Hamid in person. but I know he has been associated with Yousuf Kazzab, and I am sure about it.
it just reflects his over ambitious, emotional and unstable personality, and poor judgement. good orators are not necesarily good leaders.

well its totaly not true that people belived in his prophecies in 1971, i guess many people have wroten about it in the last few hundred years, but the one what zaid hamid showed is that he said Pakistan will break up in 2 after independance, i am waiting for his future pridictions from now to see how they go, it is easy to label anything a hoax but when many great scholars have researched on it and quoted him, especially like allam iqbal then there must be something in it,
as for the Yousuf Kazzab rubbish its allready been cleared by zaid hamid himself
after viewing his patriotism and the hope he has brought through his programes i think even a blind person would be able to judge that its all rubbish to defame him especially how he is challenging the zionists, pak media and is rising fast in popularity, common sense will say issues will come up targeting him.
and when they come from journlists from jung and geo you know its total crap.
i thought this had died down but its no secret now that you have been running a campaign to defame zaid hamid here.
