it is a historical fact that Iran started the war on Iraq since April~May 1980 when it launched its offensive on Iraqi territories and bombarded multiple Iraqi border villages and occupied them.

Saddam launched a retaliationary military operation in Sept 22nd 1980 to drive off Iranian forces from bombarding Iraqi border towns and villages after successfully liberating these towns from Iranian invaders.

the world (UN) only agreed that Saddam started the war AFTER he invaded Kuwait in 1990 to further delegitimize his regime.

I agree Saudi Arabia is an embarrassment to the rest of the Muslim but I do commend the king sitting next to ahmedinejad. I don't blindly buy in hating Iranian regime however recently the they have been openly following a sectarian policy by deed and not by words. Whereas Saudi state has been sectarian by only words.

Iranian regime have always used the Zionist fear to expand their influence but their expantionist policies have backfired in Syria and will soon backfire in Iraq. Zionist dont see Iranian supported Assad as a threat to their survival but the opposite and that's why west has not intervened in Syria yet even at the expense of their so called NATO ally turkey. It's bull$hit when Iranian supporters tries to legitimise Assad by claiming he is the so called " resistance" but he has always been a resistance not so against Israel but against Islam.

i will elaborate one last time, if you still don't get it then its your problem.

1- inviting and having the PM of the hostile regime of Iran to Makkah is just as worst and as shocking as if he invited the israeli PM into Makkah for OIC summit.

there is so much wrong with your post above:

- the current head of OIC is a Turk not a sengalese.

- KSA controls OIC, pays for their salaries and majority of expenses. it exerts huge control. No need to appoint an all-Saudi body.

- King Abdullah vs Qathafi show-down was at the Arab League not OIC. It was the other way arround, King Abdullah interrupted and severely humiliated Qathafi. The humiliation drove Qathafi to launch an assassination attempt on King Abdullah which failed.

- KSA does not fully control the Arab league. It always shared that control with Egypt. However, it was the leading force behind suspending Egypt in the 70s when it signed the peace treaty with israel. It was also the leading force behind reinstating Egypt as an AL member again.

There is one problem with us Muslims. WE ARE GOOD AT LABELING EACH OTHER. Majority of the Muslim Ulamas try to play GOD. i sometimes laugh when i see bedoo fattys and my own govt. threatening eachother and then sharing kisses next day ....

i mean for how long these two will keep on fooling all of the populations in the so called moslem world if there is any ... iraq , afghanistan , Pakistan , suriye , bahrain , yemen , we r 100 % sure for turkiye in future ( courtesy the erdo & adalet sell outs running the govt. ) , these two spread sectarian flames everywhere , i am very sure that these two states even cooperate behind closed doors in maintaining thier shared grip over the  so called moslem block ... take example of suriye .... turkiye has made the biggest mistake by getting itself trapped in the suriye conflict ... assad aint going anywhere and even if he goes ( negative chances now ) , the ethnic-sectarian civil war in suriye would just strengthen kordish nationalism , PKK would get a political point to stand on which it lacks right now ... it would become more violent than it currently is , abadollah ocalan days are over and we r seeing signs already ......

actually , ppl raised slogans and dint noticed what was really being prepared for turkiye in name of "Alawite regime change" in suriye ( offcourse shiia sunni difference alot to simple minded masses )  ... for months there is a central arabi-kordish clash has been going on in iraq ( iran has control over both but literally does nothing to stop or even slow down the flames because its in irans favor ) ... while there is also a shiite sunni clash in iraq which sunnis having no chance to win anything from ... any sectarian+ ethnic clash in suriye once assad goes would raise the kordish nationalism in the belt ... and would literally rip apart the un-natural arab-kordish population union in iraq and suriye , it would be disastrous for turkiye which itself hosts 20 % shiite and 20 % kord population ... anyone every wondered why there was suddenly an influx of alqaeda sectarian elements in the secular FSA ... because it could ideologically destroy the legitimate movement and be turned into a terrorist label carrier ... similarly one can wonder why is there no heavy weapon given to anti assad forces yet ... because no one really wants them to be in power in suriye ...

we on our forums have been discussing the suriye war ever-since the day it started , we were unable to understand why was not iran entering the thing , it could easily do by channeling hundred thousand shiite mujahideen from iraq joining hezbollah from lebanon , mixing basijis in , there were dozen ways ..... same can be said abt other allies of assad ... russia , china , they might have done thier thing in UN but on ground they like iran , restrained from direct help .... because everyone including main assad allies wanted to shape things up against turkiye .... congrats to that agent erdogan , everything has been setup against turkiye already ....

it has now become a win win situation for everyone ... lets say for iran , assad stays , he is an ally and this new asad would be very hostile towards turkiye , retreating extremists would take refuge in turkiye ( like alqaeda was pushed in Pakistan during afghan war to use as a excuse for future for intervention by US ) , these so called sectarian warriors would have to be ideologically fed at home , they would literally destroy the secular and peaceful turk society ( anyone been to isntabul will agree with me ) .... adalets current govt. is very inclined towards religion as they portray themselves .... if assad goes suriye would be #### bombed through a civil war which would be distastrous for turkiye again as can be seen through recent waves of bomb attacks in turkiye , multiply that with 100 and imagine what will happen if assad goes ....

for bedoos , they r leaders of thier own block  of countries like iran has its own group ... why would bedoos want to share the control over thier block with turkiye ? ... turkiye is regional power which can dictate small countries around , it has the potential , its secular ideology would attract the regime suppressed countries of middle east alot more than what bedoos or communist like iran can offer ..... so why would the two current lords of the middle east would want a third one ? ....

IMO , as i understand , these two states gain alot by playing hostile against eachother using sectarian and ethnic fire ..... funny how ppl end up burning their countries and cutting heads of thier own ppl in name of these two .... if Iranian president sat along with Po the kungfu panda king of bedooland then it was literally a slap on everyone else face , esp erdogan ... i wish adalet never would have won in turkiye , but who to blame , CHP's guy was found sleeping with young MP , while MHP's idiots were calling erdogan lesser human because he is ethnically Georgian ... thats what we get as our leaders in east .... clowns !

in light of what i mentioned at post #8, KSA needs to become proactive in dealing with Iran regime's hostility. The King has too many options to take. Acting all friendly with a fanatical regime who's leader propagates that he yelled "YA ALI" and "Allah AKBAR" once he was born would result in a disaster for KSA in the future:

- KSA should fully shut down Iran's embassy, expell Iran's ambassador. Fully treat Iran's regime the same way KSA treats israel's regime.

- Expel Iran's regime along with Syria from the OIC. Iran was not supposed to be invited.

- provide full support for all anti-khamenei factions within Iran. Incite the Arab spring to spark in Iran to bring down that apocalyptic nitwit.

- Take it to the offensive against Iran's hizbulla wing in Yemen (named The Houthis). Simply liberating Saudi territories during the Houthi-Saudi war is not enough. Saudi forces shouldn't have stopped till they brought the head of The Houthis leader on a plate. Just recently the Houthis have fully taken over Sa'dah and they are imposing all forms of random zakat on the people there who voiced out their complaints to their central govt but were ignored. Houthis are collecting huge funding and are up for something. Yemen is a time-bomb where another KSA vs Iran showdown will happen. Iran is up to something as the Houthis recently violated all of the treaties they agreed to when they surrendered in 2010 but smartly avoided to attack KSA's mainland since then till now.

- Once a popular revolution is successful in Iran, which is likely to happen at a much powerful magnitude than the 2009-2010 Iranians uprising, KSA can work on establishing full ties with Iran and gradually with time induct Iran into the GCC and into its joint defense pact.

i must mention that rusya itself has vast experience in clearing such insurgency ... remember 2nd chechen war against ichkarians+extremists ... how tochkas took down supply lines , bridges , highways and Su-24MK clustestered entire grozny and shamakh ... while FSB bought the kadirov , yamaev clans to build up its political face .... rusya learnt alot from first chechen war ( which it lost ) .... having that experience rusya could have easily helped assad literally wipe out the opposition but it dint ... iran has hezbollah , amal , Iraqi shiite mujahideen etc etc , with vast guerilla warefare experience and insurgencies , houthis , mehdi army , hezbollah , NA etc ...  but it too dint help much  ....
