According to a press release issued from the APML central information secretariat on Monday, Musharraf expressed these views while addressing a youth convention held in London.
He dispelled the impression that the democratic process had failed in Pakistan saying actually those had failed who were practicing 'democracy' in the name of democracy but could not deliver what the masses had expected from them.
Regretting the nomination of Raja Pervez Ashraf as the new prime minister, he said people abroad ridicule and ask was no capable person available in Pakistan to hold the office?
The former president said people are once again looking towards the military due to bad situation of economy, law and order in the country, and worst of all the institutes are in confrontation with one another. The laws and rules should be equal for every person in the states, he is against the judicial activism.
"It's true that the constitution should be saved, but in present situation if constitution is saved, the country goes down", he remarked.
He further said he would not answer a question whether the Army Chief, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani was a good officer or not. He dispelled the impression that he bowed down to a single call from the Bush administration and took a decision which afterward changed the course of history of the territory. "It is insane to say like this, nothing like that happened," he clarified.
He reiterated that he will return to Pakistan before general elections saying that his party in particular and public in general are anxiously waiting for his return, and that his party will actively participate in the upcoming general election throughout the country.
End.

Try attending a Jinaza like this and then you will know what it means to be in a war ! What it means to pray over your fallen friends who had fought alongside you in battles. The families of our sons and brothers in armed forces are doing this everyday -- leaving behind thousands of orphans, widows and old grieving parents. This is a war our haramkhor politicians do not want to acknowledge. Elections in these times of war would mean more deaths, destruction and chaos. Then there will be no time for tauba, just punishments. Wake up now before it is too late.
