Try attending a Jinaza like this and then you will know what it means to be in a war ! What it means to pray over your fallen friends who had fought alongside you in battles. The families of our sons and brothers in armed forces are doing this everyday -- leaving behind thousands of orphans, widows and old grieving parents. This is a war our haramkhor politicians do not want to acknowledge. Elections in these times of war would mean more deaths, destruction and chaos. Then there will be no time for tauba, just punishments. Wake up now before it is too late.

The Navy budget has been slashed for this year and Airforce budget increased.
But shouldnt be too impacting as most of the navy's purchases are from China and they provide hardware on favorable payment terms. Heard they waived off the loan on the F-22P destroyers.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done in Pakistan Navy, however there is a limited amount of funding available, hence priority is given to only most crucial capabilities of all three services. It is good to see though, the Pakistan Army, the largest Military Service of the three in Pakistan, has recognized the importance of Air Force and Navy. Hopefully, once there is a change in government and the new one establishes the rule of law, implement economic reforms and root out corruption. We should see a resurging Pakistan economy, which would then allow adequate allocation of funding for all services of the military, after sufficient funding has been set aside for economic development such as job creation, over coming energy shortages and revamping the education system.
Ideally, Pakistan Navy requires a stable fleet of surface warships which should comprise of (5) Destroyers, (10) Frigates, (15) FACs, (25-28) Combat Patrol Boats, (3) Replenishment Ships, (7) Mine Warfare Ships, (1-2) Landing Ships and a minimum expansion of bases to 5 which would include PN Base Jiwani, Pasni, Gwadar, Ormara and Karachi. These bases would also be augmented by support Navy Bases in corresponding areas.
The sub-surface should include (1-2) Nuclear Submarines, (10-12) should be Multi-Role Submarines that are Hunter-Killer/Attack Subs and (4-6) Special-Ops Subs such Mini/Midgets.

It's erroneous the way the navy has been treated over the years and still continues to be put at the back for priority. Out of the three services the navy suffers from the greatest disparity compared with its equivalent Indian rival. I think the armed services should remember that the navy delivered one of the most spectacular displays of military prowess and cunning when PNS Hangor took out two Indian frigates by itself, sending one to a watery grave.
Blessed be the sacred land,
Happy be the bounteous realm,
Symbol of high resolve, Land of Pakistan.
Blessed be thou citadel of faith.
The Order of this Sacred Land
Is the might of the brotherhood of the people.
May the nation, the country, and the State
Shine in glory everlasting.
Blessed be the goal of our ambition.
This flag of the Crescent and the Star
Leads the way to progress and perfection,
Interpreter of our past, glory of our present,
Inspiration of our future,
Symbol of Almighty's protection.
