Bro, the bloodline comes from the son not from the daughter. The kuffar used to taunt the beloved prophet (PBUH) that his bloodline will stop after he is gone as both his sons. Ibraheem and Qasim passed away in early life. Ofcouse no denying, there was a great Hikma of Allah (SWT) in it , even though it was painfull for the Prophet (PBUH). Actually in this background was the nazul of Surah Kusar. To say that Mahdi will drive bloodline from Prophet (PBUH) is factually wrong as its biologically (rules set by Allah) not possible, but to say that he will be from the family tree of Prophet (PBUH) is a correct statement.
In this background to say the he will be an Arab is unlikely to happen. In Pakistan, every second person claim to be a Syed. I will refer back to the physical attribute of Mahdi, and for me the two which strikes me most , a) he will look like a person from Bani Isreal and b) will drive family tree from both Prophet (PBUH) and Eesa (AS). In this context, I believe, the research must be done from Islamic point of view on the lost years (undocumented) of Eesa (AS), from age 12 to 30. I was watching Imran Husain lecture on youtube where he mentioned in a oneliner that Eesa (AS) went to the "EAST" of Jerusalem, and thats it, as if it was not important. It is a monumental mistake to ignore this as Muslims specially on part of those who claim to be Islamic scholors. Eesa (AS) son of Maryam (AS) was responsible for "ALL" of bani Isreal, weather in his surroundings or the ones who were "lost" before his time. What is happening in guise of WOT inside the Pashtun belt of Pakistan and Afghanistan is no mere coincident. There are collosal efforts going on by the forces of satan to bury the truth.
In my opinion, he will be a Pakistani with family tree linking to both great Prophets of "Islam", for the reasons I mentioned above. Most likely will do something big for the cause of Ummah to be acknowledged before going into spiritual retreat in the Hijaz and after that the events will take shape that you mentioned.
