Salaam,
Australia is a developed country while Pakistan is underdeveloped.
The main question people should ask is why China did not expand its trade with Pakistan when Pakistan was ruled by the military? As soon as democracy returned to Pakistan in 2008, China's trade with Pakistan shot up from a mere $2 billion to $10 billion in less than four years!
By the end of next year, China wants the trade to touch at least $15 billion.
