No single person can achieve this. beside him there are dozen other departments located through out Pakistan headed by different individual.. Read the history.

I agree with Tarbela, no single person can achieve this alone. It takes a whole supply chain to make a nuclear bomb and a delivery platform. Its a team effort and everyone working in those organizations should be praised for their efforts not just a single man.

Dr AQ khan left KRL years ago. KRL still functions properly. This obviously means that such organizations do not cease to function just because a person does not work there anymore. There are plenty of other scientists who are equally brilliant.

One more thing. KRL is not the only organization. There are plenty of others. KRL now is just a small part of the complex structure. Every year on/after 23rd march scientists are given awards on behalf of the president at JSHQ rawalpindi for their contribution to the strategic programs. Members here can google the list if required. The number of scientists from other organizations outnumber KRL.

What i am implying is that the strategic weapons program is much bigger and complex. KRL is a small part of a bigger program employing thousands of engineers and scientists. The efforts of everyone should be praised and not just a single person.

The latest Nasr.

Ghaznavi.

A-100 MLRS (yes, we will have in house production).

This is exactly what I have been saying the likes of  Safdar and Butterfly and Anonymous seem to think otherwise.. If they can't counter the argument or someone disagrees with their beliefs, then they start abusive language and behave like children.

Safdar go crawl back to your sewer and take your language with you... Or crawl back up AQ's behind... as you obviously have an unhealthy hero worshiping thing  for him, whilst completely ignoring the facts as pointed out by other sensible forums members, i.e. AQ was just 1 contributor to the entire effort. His contribution is no more than the person who designed the trigger mechanisms, without which your Uranium cores are useless as weapons by themselves. He is as much the father of the bomb as the person who designed the weapon or the person who designed the triggering mechanism or the the complex electronics around it.

By the way his so called missile which he developed was imported from China/N.Korea and simply repainted, as opposed to the actual development work carried out by the other strategic organisations.

What facts? Chamunay ki aulad There are no facts presented just opinions based on lack of knowledge from chamunay like yorself.

There are no complex electronics in a nuclear device they work on  Krytron triggers and precision explosives. Which PAEC tried to smuggle into Pakistan and failed. In 1984 PAEC done a cold test only because they had no uranium core, the world did not take notice, and had it not been for Dr.A.Q.Khan’s 93.5% enriched uranium PAEC would still be doing cold test and telling their chamunay to “press the button”. Any country in the world could perform cold tests with trigger mechanisms and precisions explosives, however enrichment and stock pilling is a slow process one of the most crucial for a nuclear deterrent which is an on going massive process which cannot be hidden from the peering world.  

Like I said before even if a chamuna (like youself) made a screw driver for KRL they would want credit for making the bomb, or even if he (the chamuna) pressed the button! With so many people involved there could only be one person that should take the most credit for national symbolism and pride and prestige, the one that provided the main ingredient for the whole deterrent and makes the decisions. The main responsibility was on Dr.A.Q.Khan’s shoulders and he provided Pakistan with flying colours. So show some respect you chamunay ki aulad.

What are yours?... other that copying and pasting....

• I worked on the production process and automation for producing Single crystal blades  when they were in the prototype stage (now every single aircraft engine manufacturer uses that technology)
  
• I was PM on the first widescale deployment of smart cards, before the Banks were ready to implement (they were too preoccupied with Y2K)
  
• I worked with Isostatic presses and automated processes using them..look that up in wikipedia
  
• I worked with some distinguished people on the first prototype doppler based Non-Invasive angiology instrument.... Now every single hospital has them.Now you  don't need to be cut up now (well actually since 20years ago when I was involved -and the device commercialised) to find out the state of your arteries or veins.
  
• Currently working as an advisor to a government....
  
• Almost a grandfather....

But heck.... I don't take any credit, whether I was leading the team or not... because I was part of a team.. each having their own important role....

So you see, I am not a spotty faced teenager like yourself (well maybe you may be a couple of years older) who goes around abusing others if they don't agree with my views.

This forum is not his 'jaidad' that he can behave towards people as he wishes and expects them to take it. This is a public forum, you need to accept that people do not and will not always agree with your views.

You do not need to go around acting like a spoilt brat and shouting and ranting and raving, because people don't agree with you. It lowers the standard of discussion, it makes out all Pakistani's to be intolerant (which is true anyway), and I guess lastly it reflects badly on yourself and your personality. If all of the aforementioned don't bother you then I guess thats your problem (Safdar) not mine.

You probably worked as a production engineer only in a low level tech department. You did not develop the production process or the associated machinery, technology and science behind single crystal material science, it is one of the MOST closely guarded secrets for turbine blades. What recognition do you require other than a labourer who has been given instructions to follow.

And today you are probably distributing vectone SIM cards in shop outlets for cheap international calls! Smart cards were fist used in pay phones and Banks developed their own encryption methods, the smart card it self is useless without it. Much like the nuclear bomb case without a uranium core.
