EOBI introduces phone banking for pensioners

ISLAMABAD: The Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) would introduce mobile phone banking service, Easypaisa, for the easy payment of pension to pensioners, today (Tuesday).
In a message, EOBI Chairman Zafar Iqbal Gondal, on commemorating World Labour Day, stated, "I am pleased to announce that the present government has increased pension by 20 percent from January 1, which was a long-awaited demand of labour community."
"Quaid-e-Awam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave a sense of social security to the labours, farmers and the people with low income, made them realise about their rights," the chairman said in the statement. pr
