The ruling was just in the sense they didn't want to derail the 'democratic' process, country without PM, chaos, parliamentary re-elections, then the person who vacated his seat their re-election, expenses, deal with NATO, deal with Taliban, PA, etc. The ruling was very biased.
There are people who have been given a longer time-out for the same contempt of court; The judgement was hardly fair.
However, compared to 'punishment' received by NS, SS, Babar Awan for contempt of court, this was a land mark decision.
