While 886 bunkers were constructed by it in the border areas, the Pakistani Rangers built 261 morchas and erected 398 towers in the last seven years. It also constructed 143 Border Out Posts (BOPs). "Protests have been lodged with Pakistan Rangers and Flag Meetings of Field Commanders are held in all cases. The matter is also taken up by Border Security Force (BSF) with Pakistani Rangers during scheduled meeting at various levels," Antony said. In the reply to questions, the Defence Minister said that troops were provided surveillance and technical intelligence from these areas. "Adequate troops are suitably supplemented by appropriate surveillance and technical intelligence resources to ensure sanctity of the border," he said.

New Delhi, Mar 14: India has lodged protests with Pakistani authorities for carrying out construction of bunkers and towers along its border region, the government told the Rajya Sabha today. In a written reply on construction activities carried out by Pakistan in border areas, Defence Minister A K Antony said the "government is aware through intelligence inputs that Pakistan has constructed and carried out repairs of bunkers, morchas and towers." He furnished details of the construction and repair activities carried out by Pakistan along the border from 2004 to 2011.
While 886 bunkers were constructed by it in the border areas, the Pakistani Rangers built 261 morchas and erected 398 towers in the last seven years. It also constructed 143 Border Out Posts (BOPs). FYI, shitting in ones pants is a very effective deterent. Here's a question, would you approach anyone who just shat in in their pants? As they say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, likewise a shitty pant a day keeps the Pakistani trooper at bay.
SWEET IS SLEEP TO ME AND EVEN MORE TO BE OF STONE,
WHILE THE WRONG AND SHAME ENDURE.
TO BE WITHOUT SIGHT OR SENSE IS A MOST HAPPY CHANGE FOR ME,
THEREFORE DO NOT ROUSE ME. HUSH! SPEAK LOW.
I said to God "I hate Life" God replied "Who asked you to love life? Just Love me & life will be beautiful"
Living in favorable and unfavorable conditions is PART of living. Smiling in all those conditions is ART of living.
"Anytime you think you need to protect God, you can be sure you're worshiping an idol"

I've stopped fighting my inner demons. We're on the same side now.

In my opinion, there are very few Pakistan Rangers and Pakistan Army Bases and Posts on LoC and IB. Particularly in Pakistan's Provinces of Gilget-Baltistan, Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Sindh.
If possible, Pakistan Rangers should be given an adequate share of the defense budget to better equip it's forces. Kevlars, Helmets, Night-Vision Goggles, Scout Helicopters, Tactical UAV, Secure Communication Gear and Heavy Fire Power Weapons to silence enemy guns.
Pakistan Rangers ought to play a bigger role in protecting and monitoring the borders. This would allow Pakistan Army to concentrate it's full fury on the terrorists infesting Pakistan's Provinces of Baluchistan and Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa. And as Pakistan Rangers reports to Pakistan Army, effective communication between the two can and would result in decisive victories against TTP, BLA and other terrorist groups.
PA (Pakistan Army), PR (Pakistan Rangers), SSG (Special Services Group) and PAF (Pakistan Air Force), need to establish an effective Inter-Services communication, as well as establish bases, bunkers, outposts, helipads and runway strips in border areas in Sindh, where there are no highways, roads or border posts and there seems to be little or no presence of Pakistan Border Rangers or Pakistan Army. At least not visibly.
I recognize the costs involved and appreciate the relevance that Pakistan's Military gives areas of interests, tactically. Which is why, I recommend that these proposed bases, bunkers, outposts, helipads and runway strips be selected strategically and in way that would offer our forces a tactical advantage that they can exploit, both defensive and offensively.

........ the stones and trees of Lud shall cry out to the Black Flags and tell them of the Munafiqs, Yahuds and Kuffar that are hiding behind them, to come and kill them. On what grounds are they complaining? You cannot have your cake and eat it. During the mumbai drama India accused Pakistan of having insecure borders, yet when Pakistan tries to further secure the borders, the same issues arise. Regardless of relationship status, we should have secure, monitored borders with each of our neighbours.
