people get 0%
and top of that Mr 10% takes his share from the people so infact they will end up giving back more so its loss not even gain
Mr 10% likes to charge Zardari tax and duty on all products even his prostitutes, I am suprised why at Islamabad airport why its called "duty free" it should be called "Zardari tax" even although the Islamabad duty free looks like a 1960s run down back ally corner shop
Zardari should be executed at by firing sqaud

Guy's
Read the above properly. It says 50% reduction in the 'premium' and NOT the price of oil. So the saving is not that much.

What does that mean.
I think 50% of the market value, not concessional rates. right,,,

Pakistan; with aspirations for greatness, but the political/economic system of a perpetually third world nation
relief is good, if its just gonna help you out, not be the mainstay of the survival
does Pakistan have a vision of development, for the next 30 years; great nations, IMHO, all have such a plan, and those that don't get caught up in the turmoil of crisis after crisis
50 years ago, japan had economic and political disputes within
but they forged a social contract with its people
now look at them, the longest living, per capita one of the highest living standards
here is a good documentary on "Japan Inc."

Agreed. How very very sad that these fu...ing generals have turned this military into a 'Military for Rent'. When these SOBs are happy to kill their own people and collect money for it than killing foreigners is walk in the park for these bastar.ds.

This is complete bulls****. Grow up......
What they are talking about is 50% of the PREMIUM not the price of the furnace oil. Normally, mainly developing countries, pay the market price + a premium for the oil. The amount of premium is dependant upon the quantity required and the duration of the contract ie. number of months. Countires like Pakistan only buy a small amount and take delivery once a quarter and hence are charged a premium. In this case with Kuwait, Pakistan is only buying 1 million ton over a year - this a small quantity and hence has to pay market price + Premium. Now the Kuwaiti Government has decided to reduce the premium by 50% hence we have to now pay the market price + 50% of normal Premium. The premium ranges from 2% market price to 8% depending on the quantity. For example we will pay the market price + 8% premium which has now been reduced to market price +4% premium. Now tell me what money are you talking about?????? Nobody is giving us any money.
Please stop making these silly childish comments and wasting bandwidth. There are plenty of other issues to discuss.
