He established Hamdard Foundation in 1948. Within few years, the herbal medical products of Hamdard became household names. Hakim Mohammed Said wrote or compiled about 200 books. These include books on religion, tibb (natural medicine), health and sciences, books on literary, social and scientific topics and travelogues.

Hakim Mohammed Said was murdered on October 17, 1998.Nawaz Sharif on Oct 28, 1998 had accused an MPA and seven other activists of the MQM of being involved in the Oct 17, 1998 murder of Hakim Said, and had given them three days to hand over the culprits. Same allegation became the prime reason for operation against MQM.

He further exposed that in order to get promotion IG Sindh Rana Maqbool (existing Prosecutor General Punjab) falsely accused MQM workers on Hakeem Saeed murder. One of the innocent MQM worker Fasih Jugno was extra judicially killed under police custody.

He was an angel given by Allah to us and we killed him. His & that of Edhi sin was that they wanted NSC (National Security Council).

His death was jointly done by MQM & PML-N .. to be precise Nawaz Sharif. After the killing was done by MQM, NS caught the killers, they knew excactly when & where, of course they were part of it, and when they were caught the SMS & telephone calls after doing the killing where not taken into consideration in open court ! Yup .. our courts were independent in those days, oooh sorry it should be called we had demcratic lead courts.

MQM guys prosecuted and humiliated, and also the army turning on the MQM because again the only saviour of Pakistan was some philanthropists like Hakeem Saeed sahab and PA.

I had gone to Hakeem Saeed's clinic (at M.A. Jinnah road, opp. Dow medical college) when i was young with my grand mother ! The only rule was you are rich or poor, stay in the queue, which started at 7am and pay 1 Rs and this would include medicine.

He was so Noorani and soft spoken, I literally choked when I heard of his killing.

We don't know how to treat our God gifted wealth .. no doubt.

Please not that before 20 years same people Brigadier Imtiaz and niazi telling us that MQM involve in terrorist activities, and now the same people belongs to agencies telling that MQM was not, firsly the fate of both the people is very very week, and no one able to accept the statements, because may be after 10 years, if they will again say that MQM is terrorist organization, then?
