once the post break session resumes the army chief briefly touches upon the questions which are in every body,s mind
A.Fox land has to have a land rout to khurassan and hold khurasaan for red land  , this will make us partner with Red land in economic ventures in central asia, it is for our next generations we want to present them everlasting peace and prosperity.This  operation is vital
B.There can never be peace between Blue land and Fox land if Blue Land is allowed to remain a Nuclear power in this regard we have to cooperate with RED land as they also have same objectives.
C.Question regarding can we do it, my answer is I will make sure we can.

133.D-12 0200 hours Blue land capital general headquarter operation room.The director general military operation has been made to rush to situation room because of few alarming reports from working boundary in the NORTH EAST.all along the the boundary the Tank noises are heard and apparently  they seem to e moving in the direction of order .He was aware of presence of at least 2x armor brigades at Samba and RSPura  area  and from his sources their was move of enemy forces from their heart land to this sector.There were reports of movement of artillery division in general area Udhampor but since their was no movement of any strike formation the news was just kept in low profile but with combination of the tank movement it seems something is definitely wrong.he calls his  formation commanders and orders them to  engage the enemy if  breaks the cover and tanks move ahead of the their forward defense line
    there is constant combat air patrolling being carried out by fox land air force but little away from  border line.He is thinking of informing the army chief but before he could do it he is informed the chief is already on the way.The frantic calls of fleeing villagers to media made the noises as breaking news and it traveled at much faster pace than military communication channels .DG military operations still have the report that Fox land infantry has reduced their presence on forward areas and gradually withdrawing  and now this forward movement of armor is a puzzle .He on the instruction of army chief issue a statement to the news channels that the situation is well under control and forces are ready to face any eventuality.However he reuses to add further despite constant prompts from news anchor
134.D-12 0600 hours the tanks noises from most of the locations along borders are subsided but Blue land intelligence seems to be clue less about the reason behind this movement.knowing fully well that there was no move of any armor formation towards this sector so these tanks may be of local formations.the logical conclusion can be that integral armor regiments of three infantry divisions plus 2x independent brigades have been pooled up to mock an armor division

134.D-10 Director military operation in his conference room with his staff officers is busy compiling the situation reports from his formations intelligence reports
crux of the reports is
a.In Leh sector at least one additional mountain division is spotted.In addition to that a transport squadron plus with transport helicopters is added on the base
The possibility of enemy Planing to capture critical heights behind our defenses or may like to hold any landing strips for further action
With present strength of Fox land forces in the sector this kind of operation is not feasible however field formations in this sector have been instructed to analyse the terrain very carefully and add  security to all land strips and sights
b.In kashmir sector The Sri nagar air port is closed for all civil traffic and there is  presence of helicopters n from  and transport planes.At least one formation
from eastern command is spotted.
The possibility is that Leh and Kashmir  sectors concentration of fox land might culminate into one offensive in either sector and helicopters are concentrated for shifting of troops quickly.
The second possibility  two pronged mutually supporting offensive and extensive use of helicopter squadrons  in mutual support role i.e shifting of troops and fire power from one sector to other.
Since there is no additional deployment of artillery and logistic back from roads there is no imminent threat
c.In Mendharis  rajuri sector there  special operation units  are spotted in the Pir panajal range astride track Shopiyan mendhar valley.
one engineer brigade has been seen in udhampor area and few vehicles for heavy bridging equipment are also seen which is unusual
two additional brigades of artillery are deployed in mendhar and samahini sectors

D.in jamun sector fox land 10 division  is present partially holds Akhnoor sector with one brigade remaining two brigades are still in Akhnoor.26 division is mostly scattered along working boundary but quite deep in their own territory however   2,3 ,4 and 16 armour brigades are deployed on along the border which gives Fox land an offensive capability.according to intelligence reports a major general
is commanding this armor based battle group.So the enemy strength in this sector is approximately
1 Armour division plus
and 3 divisions of reserve infantry
and 2 divisions deployed and can be recycled if offensive succeed  
135.director general military operations of Blue land is bit confused over the deployment of armor and holding back of infantry.presence of MI 25 helicopters at udhampor base make him suspicious that probably fox land is creating an Armor division in this sector but where it will be launched in this limited space ?

126.The problems to the new fiscal system are numerous and the biggest problem facing government of Blue land is not enough gold to give to wheat producers for running the government machine and as expected the landowners started accumulating gold and plus of that neighboring countries smugglers on the behest of their government start purchasing the wheat from Blue land market by paying with Gold and at much higher rate.This might result in temporary shortage.The government issue new orders that in lieu of free canal waters and electricity one tenth of their production will be taken by the government.The estimate of the government is that this much wheat will be enough to run the government machine however for development projects more funds will be required.Though it is feared that present government machine is so used to corruption that they will fail the system but government find herself helpless over the issue and parallel unlawful economy start taking shape again.
127.Blue land capital ,D-28 the meeting of federal secretaries and blue land military chief is going on.The chief informs his civilian officials that this escalation is still on but this will take a longer time before actual war but our success will depend on how we manage our new fiscal system.If we succeed here we will succeed in war too but if we fail then military victory even if achieved will be meaningless.Our clash of interest with Red land is inevitable and the strategic negotiations  are just part of indirect warfare therefore civil administration has    to succeed to prevent military take over or may they all be replaced by a more efficient team which is being organized.

136.The smuggling of wheat from new crop  is on the rise and farmers are being paid in gold at any asking rate.The Blue land government make a simple legislation that for barter of wheat and gold , the only gold acceptable will be in shape of official coins which are exchanged through baitulmaal.The government does not take any responsibility of artificial gold.Most of the farmers find that they have no utility from the gold received from smugglers and in few instances they found that gold was not pure as well.The price of gold is on the rise in western market because their government has to use gold for bribing Blue land officials however the number of corrupt officials is reduced dramatically after the fresh legislation of Blue land government.
137.The second major issue facing the government was that people are not counted for and lot of outsiders were moving freely in Blue land.after lot of thinking government decides to organize the rural area into tribal basis and issue the bio identification mentioning clans and village and city into a city state kind of organization.The cities will no longer be open and movement with in the country will be checked and monitored

138D-9.The red land forces in khurassan are under intense pressure from khurasaani,s freedom fighters.The failure of strategic talks with Blue land further aggravate the Red Land.The relative calm on western border of Blue  land  results in increased attacks on red land forces in Khurasaan.Despite all pressure from International community Blue land refuse to send more forces in the western sector owing to the alarming built up of forces in the east.The red land forces realize that even securing a safe corridor through Blue land might not be enough to stabilize the situation In Khurasaan  and they need a major increase of force in khurasaan and the only force willing to cooperate without demanding the withdrawal  of Red land forces .The calculation of Red land commander is very simple and that is if he has almost million plus boots on ground after managing a thorough defeat of Blue land forces he has the chances of success
139.D-8 red land has issued travel advisory to his citizens fro traveling to fox land anticipating immediate threat of massive terror attack in fox land and on other hand their mole in terrorist organisations with in fox land has made all the preparations  for a  token terror strike at some sensitive location to incite immediate war between Fox land and Blue Land.The RED LAND has assured fox land her military support at critical juncture during the war.

141.D-8 fox land general head quarter the director general military operation is evaluating his intelligence report which suggest that apparently Blue Land is non responsive so far in their eastern Border that is border with Fox land .Most of their strike formations are committed in the west, probably Blue land is preparing for an absolute defense and is prepared to barter her limited space to gain time for strategic launch.Own forces have decisive edge in fire power but it is unlikely that this fire power would yield any result at tactical level  against Blue land forces who are well dispersed and dug down but what can be the response of Blue land?

142.D-7 deployment of on Foxland is complete
a.heavy concentration of almost two corps of infantry in the area of operation of Army group North in addition to almost 7 holding division and an armored division plus
b.Entire 11 corp of western command forms part of Army group North however 1rst armour division and 14 RAPID are deployed from dera Baba nanak to Fazilka enemy holds at least five infantry divisions in reserve which includes 7&15 division which
c.Army group south from ganga nagar down to Arabian seas  is held by 3x armoured divisions supported by 4 x rapids Most of the infantry of these two commands still concentrates around the peace locations which is highly unusual. The strength of reserve infantry in this sector is almost 6 divisions
143.The Blue land military chief in his operational command Post is watching this deployment on the map.He  is wondering whether the architect of concept of absolute war had any guess that this concept will put into practical test at such a grand scale? This huge battle field of 1500x2000 miles of billion plus human being and if Yellow Land jumps in it will be 2/3 of world population at each other throats with the most lethal weapons at hand.He wonders what his opponent commander is thinking that 17x divisions of  reserve infantry will fetch him.He checks up with his air chief what can be done?Who shakes his head sideways first  and then say that Blue land air force will not be able to do worthwhile damage to scattered and dug down forces by employing conventional means specially when BAF would be busy in air superiority war

144.D-5 some undisclosed location in Urzgan province of Khurasaan , the Shora or advisory council of Ghaliban is holding meeting being attended by the Blue land Ghaliban representatives.Mullah Khitab the head of khurasani and Blue land Ghaliban  appreciates the cease fire of Ghaliban in Blue land however he is dismayed over slow progress on political front by his Blue land deputies.He informs the Blue
land Ghaliban that the project''Dawa'' is going too slow and just in case of fall of Blue land or Blue land being mauled badly the there are not enough recruits to take over the administration at local level in case the state of Blue Land cripples down economically.He is informed that most of the of the military officers of Blue land have done Baiya tacitly but will obey their chief and will not be ready to work against Blue land.At district level Shura,s are formed but has been strictly instructed to remain peaceful and not to antagonize the Government however anyone who would work for the western powers including other agents will remain the legitimate target.Mullah Khitab again intervenes  and ask there are liberal elements doing target killing of Ghaliban in southern province but I strongly suggest that no retaliatory steps to be taken by local Ghaliban over there.He instruct the Blue land representatives to ensure more presence in border cities in the east and turn those town and cities into fortress through volunteers .The announcement   of take over will only be made by Mullah Khitab himself if required.Mullah is of the opinion that at critical juncture the Government of Blue land might collaps at that point Ghaliban must be in a position to prevent anarchy on one hand and and support the Blue land forces on the other hand by jumping into the war.No bloodshed internally and barkhast ,the envoys rush back to Blue land

145.The capital of Blue land D-4 the headquarter of strategic command division.The Blue land commander is engaged in intense discussion with his intelligence chief and the commander of strategic division ,The subject is obviously the crises.After intense discussion The military chief gives his war plan for deployment of strategic assets.He order reorganization of the division into detachments.There were 20 detachments in total and accordingly he divides Fox Land into 20 Zones.Each Detachment consist of intelligence team responsible for target acquisition through manual  and satellite surveillance
of the Zone. Then is a missile battery , an air force liaison officer  and a Naval liaison officer.The commander of the detachment is Brigadier general who is responsible for  acquisition of targets in his zone, the size of target, the amount of fire power required for the destruction ,the suitable delivery means etc.The priority wise targets are
a,Enemy strategic assets
b.enemy second strike capability
c.command and communication structure of enemy forces
However every effort should be made for not to target civil population
146.The decision is also made to give some tactical nuclear device to center,south and northern commands for restoration of balance if required,It is left to the discretion of commander of the forces to decide as to how and when these weapons will be employed.

147.D-2, 0200 The forward localities Blue Land report helicopter noise around Poonch city.Apparently Poonch landing strip is hub of activities and few C-17 transport Planes landed and took off at one hour interval , doing total of six sorties during the day.The local Blue Land commander Puts his entire force on alert however it is too hard to find in pitched dark night about the kind of helicopters whether they are transport helicopters or the gunships.He is tempted to spread his force to cover all the landing zones but instead of creating more confusion he just ask his reserve commander to be prepared to move on order.He is of the opinion that despite night fighting capability Fox land would prefer day light operation in this sector.He asks permission to open fire as preemptive measure from his superior which is granted.His signal detachment finds that despite heavy helicopter flying there is  complete wireless silence which is quite unusual.The Poonch city is in complete dark including the landing strip.The commander is off the opinion that these gunships   Might not cross over and if they do they have approach through defiles instead of flying over the top and get detected.He asks his local commanders to who are holding the heights to keep an eye below in the valley and engage the helicopter when in range

148.D-2 0600 hrs BAF (blue land air force )air head quarter is alarmed at the increased presence of Foxland fighter planes in the skies near the International Border.BAF with their limited resources find a daunting task ahead which includes
a.Protection of ground troops from a very superior air force
b,protecting own basis and continuation of operations if basis are compromised
c.Prevent enemy from landing her mountain divisions through helicopters in mountain regions in north
d.Maritime security against Red land invasion if required
The BAF so for has kept the air space violations by Fox land in low profile knowing fully well that Fox land air force is trying to assess the response time of BAF in certain areas ,The BAF analysis of the situation is that the Purpose of war is to establish ground link to Khurasaan either through south via beach landing and link to khurasaan or capture the northern mountains and make a link to khurasaan. The option one of beach landing look simple but it does not cut off the Blue land and yellow land link.BAF is of the opinion that Major thrust will be in the North with high probability of a limited war to begin with.BAF chief assessment is that it might turn out to be a prolonged war of attrition to drain out the resources of Blue land and force an internal collapse.The Blue Land Army is pretty confident that invasion in the north by Fox land will be defeated thoroughly and a limited war in the north is welcome scenario.
149.D-2 0600 hours Poonch sector, the helicopter noises have subsided before first light but the Blue Land commander of the sector does not order reduction of alert level.He summons the field intelligence unit representative and ask him to check if their are any helicopters/plan in poonch air port.The Field intelligence officer tells him that his sources in the city of poonch has confirmed five MI=35 at landing strip.Apparently this strip does not have any shelter.The commander asks his Artillery and the infantry commander to utilize all the fire power on this landing strip  to make sure that no helicopter goes back.

150.D-2 0615 hrs Talwar observation post poonch sector , the artillery observer who is young lieutenant by rank is awake since last night after the helicopter noises  were reported and has not wasted a second but got down to his fire plan where he has registered targets and he force his gun position to do dry rehearsal at least once a day.He receives his orders   0605 hrs to engage ''landing strip'' though his observation is restricted to hardly few hundred meters due to extremely bad weather and all he can hope is one lucky shot. First salvo is fired at 0615 hours and observer has not choice but to keep repeating the same range again and again
151,Poonch air strip 0610 hrours the fox land air force MI 35 detachment has finished repair of one of five helicopters and report their group leader ready to take off who asks his pilot to the air helicopters however before they could get on board first salvo of blue land artillery hit the landing strip, for a moment the the detachment commander pause for second knowing fully well that it is almost impossible for artillery fire to be at the same very location and weather is favoring him but he orders every body to take off right in the middle of fire however once air borne he finds that one of his helicopter could not take off ground station of the base confirm direct hit and substantial damage to the helicopter however crew is safe
152.Blue land commander order stop fire after 15 minutes  who knows that after first salvo enemy is alerted nothing much can be achieved but at forward localities the fire exchange between deployed troops goes on for several hours.

153.1100 hrs D-2 Udhampur base which is head quarter of army group north and old corps head quarter offices have been turned into army head quarters.The base commander of Udham pur base and Army commander along with few other officers including the chief of staff of new army group the , intelligence general staff and reconnaissance squadron  commander is also their .The discussion is the Idea of hovering fire base against an isolated picket.The helicopter pilots are skeptical of this kind of arrangement specially once Artillery fire is going on.The pilot says that direct fire from helicopter against an enemy holding a height can be devastating but lot will depend on height of the feature and ceiling of the helicopter.In the northern mountains the hight varies from 2000 meters to 7000 meters and at that height  endurance will be a big issue.Army commander conveniently look at Base commander who assures his helicopter pilots that during all this operation Fox land air force will remain in the air inn the sector and will do every thing possible to facilitate the operation .Army commander makes a fire Plan group consisting of Base commander , Commander of the Artillery and helicopter squadron. Who has to submit the out line Plan by the evening .The meeting is adjourned.

155.Blue land General Head quarter  D-1 1700 hours ,Army chief is heading the important meeting of all the formation commanders of his northern command along with Air force chief and northern command of Air force.The subject is very intense movement of Fox land forces along the ceasefire line. Blue land chief anticipate that his opponent commander is gambling on one assumption and that is '' any limited war in disputed region will remain  well conventional'' Blue land commander does not think that a successful nuclear strike against enemy infantry in mountains is a Possibility.Enemy is likely to utilize her additional 20 divisions in this limited sector.Cutting off their supply routs might not have any impact on the war tempo for short duration and Key to success will largely depend upon the Air superiority in this region.We have to deny Fox land the utilization of  their mountain division through air assault  and  ability to maintain a division deep into our territory through helicopters.The second task concerns field formations and that is not to allow Fox land Army ground assault the link up with the heliborne division holding some vital ground in our area.

156.0000 hrs ( Fox land time )D day it is last quarter of moon so it is still pitched dark and complete silence , the field commanders on Blue land side have been told that this is D day  but no body is sure where the attack will come.It is still half an hour to go according to Blue land time.The commanders at all level are in command post and ready to jump to counter action in case of war but no body knows how it will start
157.Jamun sector fox land  Artillery  is ordered to move at their battle locations after 1900 hours D-1 ,the time to open fire is set on 0030 hours D day. For most of the commanders this time is bit too short to deploy and open up with in three hours but since they know their locations they have silently dumped their ammunition using dark hours but every body know that it is a big risk as commander can change his plan at 11th hour but no choice and this is no rehearsal but actual war.The fire plan has been finalized to minutest detail and emphasis is more towards the communication centers of Blue land forces and deep targets.The heavy , medium and field Artillery is deployed in the same line   which is highly unusual.
158.Sialkot city 2355  hours BST D day , warning sirens are blown and city is plunged into complete darkness for citizens it may be just an other rehearsal so nobody takes notice of it but at exact 0000 hours  hell breaks out over the city multiple explosions  rock the city  after few minutes the sky is illuminated with raging fire and failing shells .The city administration seems to be in shock however the people seem to be taking charge and all the mosques loud speakers start announcing that people to stay home however all the injured to be brought up to the mosques and from their collective arrangements will be available for further transportation to hospitals.The people find it difficult in continued shelling but it is too hard to leave their loved one,s dying without treatment.surprisingly Blue land Army is not visible in all this mayhem which is going on at same intensity without stop since last 15 minutes.
159. Blue land air force is first to react on the call from Sialkot garrison commander  at joint staff operation room code Ababeel is issued and 0015 hours about hundred aircraft get air borne and head for predesignated targets.This is the move which has been thoroughly rehearsed.

160.D day 0030 hours there is intense shelling  by Fox land all along the cease fire line  and the urban population centers are special the targets.The long range Artillery is so strategically placed that  even northern cities are engaged including few important water reservoirs.The long range rockets at certain stage exploded few miles away from very sensitive strategic installations.Mirpur city,kotli gujrat and most of the urban population centers are targeted and becomes subject to continued battering.The emergency is declared however the civil administration find it impossible to deal with the catastrophe.The hospitals are cramped , the streets are packed with fleeing people.There is total confusion in the urban population centers.The civil administration calls local Army commanders for guidance but they are busy with the war at hand.The fire brigades almost gave up on the most of the fires in the cities and left the rescue to the people.
161.the Army group north command post udham pur  fox land 0020 hours, Army commander along with the base commander and other staff in the operation room are just looking through situation reports from different sectors.CS Army group is in constant touch with his Army chief.He anticipated that the policy of shock and awe to cramp the resources of Blue land to maintain the forces must be reduced to bare minimum by inflicting heavy civil causalities. in order to create  anarchy hopelessness ,to segregate Blue land forces from the population.

162.D-day 0016 hours Fox land Capital Air force head quarter  receives information from their airborne radar that large number  air crafts of Blue land are in the air and heading North  .Air headquarter is under strict instructions not to violate the air space of Blue land till specific orders from ministry of defense.This seem strange  but under the circumstances but air force understands the importance of this order .The air crafts of Blue land are away from international borders and are not heading towards fox land however the bases of  western air command are put on red alert and combat air patrols fighters  from various bases  are air borne .
163.D-day 0019 Jamun city air port comes under attack by unknown number of air crafts .Runway is completely damaged .
164.D-day 0020 hours Udham por base comes under heavy attack which goes on for five minutes  damaging the run way completely requiring major repair
165.D-day 0023 hours Srinagar base comes under attack with the similar results
166.D-day 0025 hours Leh and Avantipura bases experience the same fate

166.Blue land air headquarter D day 0045 hours the battle over the skies of jamun and kashmir  claims five fighters of Blue land in air combat, 3 of the pilots  bail out and are under protection of Mujahideen of Kashmir but  other two are still missing'
b.Time for fox land Air force to be effective over the disputed land is identical to that of Blue land
c.Fox land Ground losses could not be confirmed right away.
Blue land chief instructs the cyclic process of attacks to continue on the bases of Kashmir however he strictly instructs  no intrusion from International border or the attacks on the bases of main land.Most of the staff at Air headquarter knows that It is matter of time before an all out conflict but why    this  aim less limited war.
167.The Blue land Artillery who has assessed the fire patron and deployment of Fox land artillery thoroughly finally open up at 0100 hours.Mostly it is counter bombardment on Fox land gun positions.The jumun sector counter bombing proves so effective that for some time their is a complete halt from fox land side however the self propelled Artillery of newly raised 4th armour division which is  almost in line with the tanks barely few hundred meters away from CFL and have not opened up so far  starts  with counter bombing of Blue land  around 0200 hours this time it is Blue land turn and their guns are silenced right away.Blue Land forward deployed Infantry tries to intervene with the anti tank missiles and Mortars  against forwar deployed self propelled guns but can not do much damage with the limited fire power  by 0300 hours there is complete silence on both sides of cease fire line barring the air force jets who are engaged is serious struggle to keep each other non operational in the disputed region.

168.D-day 0300 hours joint operation room fox land air force navy and army commanders are present along with defense minister and  prime minister ,a staff officer keeps briefing the  participants with the latest war situation.Thanks to excellent communication network passage of information from entire front is in matter of seconds.Army chief is confident that war is going according to plan however he is not happy over the fate of his artillery divisions deployed from Samba all the way to Akhnoor.he has reached the conclusion with his commander of Army group north that with the latest locating equipment and effective counter bombing the days of towed artillery are over.Prime minister seems to be more concerned over the out come of aerial combat over the occupied zone.His concern is understandable though in his heart he is thankful to his air chief who kept the Air force out of disputed region though he had lock horns with Army chief over the issue but his foresight has saved the air force from a certain mayhem in the North west  .The air combat was non existent due to very heavy jamming from both sides the  pilots  were almost deaf and blind.However the Blue land air force had demonstrated the capability of hitting the bases in cyclic action and most of the time their attack were like 3 attacks in one hours  and BAF was almost on the skies all the time.Prime minister holds  back
air force for counter strike, he wants a slow tempo prolonged fire exchange which should cripple the will  to fight amongst the nation and military of Blue land but is not ready to take the risk of nuclear conflict.

170.The stand off order of Fox land air force are resented to an extent by his western and south western command but he pools up all his helicopter squadrons containing MI 8 MI 26 MI 17 and MI 35 at the operational basis of Pathankot ,Amritsar where elements from Dead land are busy rehearsing the biggest helibourn operation in the history.Operation area is around Yol where 57 division along with an other mountain division are practicing heli copter lift and drop by day and night .Red land satellite  continuously photograph the likely landing Zones and   and activities .This operation has to succeed with in desired time frame .The fox land commander is bit skeptical about this plan but his allies are absolutely sure about the success.This is the particular reason for the Air  force  to operate from Chandi garh, Sirsa and dehli instead of forward basis and that  is the reason for not opening up entire front and keeping the war to a limited scale and accepting losing the northern basis .

171.D+1  1100 hours , the estimated loss of civil population on last night artillery fire on civil population centers id estimated to be 500 dead and lot of people injured .The media continuously appeals to the public to remain calm and remain in homes.The details of one weak emergency items to be stored , pooling up of doctors at ward levels is being done .The civil administration encourage the people to dig out trenches in the homes particularly the border towns.The major cities population is already reduced owing to changed patron of economy and dispersal plan for major cities away from border takes  into effect.fleeing population from border villages create some problem but movement is of forces is still at small scale and on the Blue land side the usual rush of war is still lacking at least it is obvious from the movement of troops.

173.D+1 1130 hours Samba cantonment , since the out break of hostilities newly formed 4th armored division has taken over the school building being used as tactical headquarter.The commander XVI corps has chosen this place to give out his operational orders.The participant units are
4 armor division 39 division from Yol  and 26 division.The orders start at sharp 1135.The salient points
a.Aim of the offensive to draw in Army reserve North of Blue land  away from major battle zone to be in the North west.
b.26 division is given the task to clear the security zone with help of 16 armor brigade.The objective secure line chak amro -damaan by 0800 hours D+2 and then deploy along western flank to provide flank protection to main force.
c.4 armour division to  secure line zafarwal shakar garh  in phase one
d.39 division to mop up the remnants of Blue land forces by passed by 4th armour division.Be prepared to link up with first armour division who will be attacking jassar
The corps commander emphasize again that our aim is to draw attention of Blue Land army reserve north and to preempt their strike corps

174.Sangram air base in Khurassan 0900 hours D+1 ,The Red Land 101 air borne division has managed to disengage from the fight with Ghaliban and is concentrated in the base.The director central intelligence the division commander , central command commander, director military operations Fox land  are involved in heated debate .The commander Central command received the go ahead signal of Plan ''charlie'' which is quite simple to execute but the results of failure would run a chill in anybody,s spine.The essence  of plan is '' Fox land ground offensive at very critical target will draw all the forces from western border and central Blue land .Blue land would in most likelihood would get ready for nuclear strike at this nick of time the 101 air borne division would be landing on the different air bases and take control of Hot weapons.All this operation has to be done under UN banner and most of the helicopters have big UN flag marked on them.The operation will be done on pretext of prevention of Nuclear war.However the green signal will be given by Fox land that the Blue land Army has been engaged completely and is in no position to disengage without getting off balance.In his briefing the Fox land director general military operations identifies 4 bases which contains strategic missiles and the plains capable of carrying the nuclear war heads being marked on   the map as base 1 , 11, 111 and 1V respectively.The Red land air force will be given four forward air bases  ( sirsa, Halwara, Adam por, and chandigarh)by Fox land but the air crafts  will be marked as Fox land air forces.The salient feature of the Plan ;-
a.massive air raid on all the Blue land bases by Fox land and red land air forces with the aim of preventing any aerial support to BLUe land four bases after sweep jamming of Radars
b. The heli borne  force of 101 division will move in and with in time frame of 3 hours would land on four objectives the time frame would be so short that the scattered Blue land forces might not be able to make back to the bases
c.The UN envoy in Blue Land will offer cease fire to Blue land after making sure that Hot weapons are firmly in hand with 101 division on the condition that united nation will take over all the nuclear weapons of Blue land.
The DGMO fox land forces laughs at such optimism basing on such an idiotic plan but keeps his comments reserve all he sees is that this might minimize the collateral damage to his country.The start of this operation will be  on V day however the detail timings will be given after the Fox land gives green signal

175.Blue land operation room D+1 ,1300 hours  directors of intelligence and military operations along with air chief, naval chief commander strategic command division are the participants of this important meeting called by army chief.The subject is alarming intelligence reports from Yellow land sources that Red land is waging war through fox land in order to keep yellow land out of conflict.However Yellow land has committed again that indirect support would be so massive that Blue land   will be able to defend herself in any eventuality.The army chief is satisfied over the active role of Blue land air force in northern sector and ask the air chief that Fox land Air force must not be able to utilize her northern Basis irrespective of any price we have to pay.The intelligence director is asked to make sure Mujahideen in the valley do not let fox land forces gain the ability to generate their  full combat power however the problem was ineffectiveness of freedom fighters in aras east of chenab river and along the working boundary.  The  few infantry divisions from central command  of Fox land have been transferred  to northern army.special military trains are moving non stop from main land to Udhampor .The director intelligence is of the opinion that udhampor concentration means that offensive is likely to be North of Akhnoor and south of Poonch.Enemy seems to be aiming to grab our throat right from the outset.The director operation is confident that this scenario can be handled conventionally however strategic command is told to be prepared to strike all out on orders.The time to start strike must not be more than one hour after orders.However Army chief is absolutely certain that no such eventuality will occur but not ready to take chances.

178.With great effort the assault on the border post is halted however the  in the east of border post fox land infantry bypass  it and continue south in direction of Chak Amru .At 2200 hours forward battalion of fox land reports intense fire from village  chak Amru and that they are unable to go any further due to heavy fire.Commander 26 division  anticipates that his troops have contacted the main position which seems to be on line Chack Amru- damaan.The commander  decides to gamble over the gap between main position  and border out posts which is almost 3000 to 5000 meters .he orders his armour regement to form up in the area secured by own infantry and advance towards the west rolling up the border out posts by attacking them from  south.!205 hours D+2 eastern most border out post which had  halted fox land attack hears the battle noises about two miles behind them and  and the fox land tank noises between him and his main position .The post commander realizes that probably his war is over as for as this post is concerned.The post commander informs his superiors  who tells him vacate the position  .
179.D+2 0600 hours most of the border out posts of Blue land are cleared but not without heavy losses .66 cavalry,s Charlie squadron who spearheaded the roll up operation tried to advance west on extended line and went  too close to Blue land defensive positions  and got six tanks knocked out before they could disengage .The losses of only attacking brigade are 30 dead including six officers .By 0700 hours D+2 General officers commanding 26 division reports his corps commander that security Zone is cleared and Blue land main position contacted and only one armour regiment and brigade of infantry managed the action.

180.The Blue land commander in chak Amru sector has been informed that Fox land 4th armour division attack is imminent.He has lost the security zone area and at a distance of approximately  5000 to 6000 meters he can see few freshly dug trenches by Foxland infantry.He is calculating  along with commanding officer 113 lancers 6000 meters at the rate of 60000 meters per hour or 60000/60=1000 meters per minute.so enemy tanks will need 6 minutes or at the maximum ten minutes if they assault at full speed In that period he can fire maximum of 98 tank rounds from the squadron of tanks he has.His four TOW launchers may be fire another 12 .If he scores 100% hit still he will hit 110 tanks  and here are at least 300 tanks charging on his position he concludes that his built up area based defense will be compromised and he might not be able to defend line Damaan - Chak Amru.Commanding officer 113 lancers promise him all his tanks at one hour notice.The commanding officer of lancers is confident that he will manage a  decent fight if not defeating 4th armour division but he finds it hard to defend this defensive line.The Blue land commander is not ready to think for once that he will abandon this position which is being held by 4Xregular companies and 1000 Mujhideens .These Mujahideen are seasoned fighters but their experience is of mountain warfare and their performance in built up area yet to be proven.He orders t the troops to hold their positions at all cast and call back his superiors for additional tanks who promise to send 6 gunships.

181.D+2 0845 hours fox land Artillery start opens up on the positions Chack Amru -damaan.From a distance Tank noises  can be heard .Most intense shelling is on chak Amru and damaan. villages.The battalion commander defending this sector who has worked for months to utilize this built up for his defensive fight does not seem to be worried about the shelling but how the troops are likely to react once they will be cut off from main supply line and are isolated.He had stored enough ammunition and food at every location which could lost for more than two months in case the need arises.It is a bright sunny day with clear visibility and the commander is confident that armour assault against chak amru,bini minhasaan and damaan will be contained however he not confident about central locations where villages are comparatively smaller but too many in numbers .
182.D+2 fox land 4 armour division attacks with two brigades up starts. western brigade forms up just on the border track and rumbles down in the general direction of damman ,and go  unopposed  for a kilometer or so when leading regiment receive their first causality when a tank run over a mine and is damaged beyond repair. the second fatality comes few second later when the tank squadron commander of leading squadron  hit by an anti tank guided missile.The squadron halts move back a bit and opens up against the position from where the missile was fired however they are ordered to continue

183.D+2 1100 hours 4th Armour division assault though apparently started impressive gets bogged down in the western flank in Damaan bini minhasaan area because of well coordinated anti tank fire and unmarked minefield.Practically forward tanks received fire from every village.The  brigade commander concludes that it might not be a good idea to get the tanks trapped in the middle of village clusters.It is too hard to bypass these villages which are located at a distance of 200 to 2000 meters from each other  therefore he orders his tanks to retreat to general line of forest reserve-Baher  village about. 2 to 3 kilometers inside Blue Land.However on the east in Chak Amru sector leading Regiment did manage to exploit eastwards till village Harar complex because of less built up areas and sometimes tanks just over ran the mud houses however the eastern brigade suffers brutal causalities because of accurate fire from Chak amru complex .Brigade commander asks his leading regiment to change formation and try and mask chak Amru village from west and secure Road Dekhra- Baher  which is inter brigade    boundary with his flanking brigade.Brigade commander of western brigade has his one regiment committed in masking role of Chak amru village and ( hoping that By night infantry will take over this job from him ) his leading regiment has secured Harar area by 1350 hours he orders his third regiment to utilize the gap between chak Amru harar and advance south but at this juncture he is ordered to halt any advance further south of Road Chak Amru Darman for the time being but to advance east and role up Blue land defenses along ditch south of Baher which goes east.The eastern brigade commander  instead of   bringing his followup regiment asks the regiment who secured the Road baher-dehlra to advance west as for as possible .This order proves to be fatal as his two squadrons get sandwiched between the two blue Land positions and get destroyed near Dhudam khurd
184.D+2 1600 hours general officer commanding 4th armour division finds his formation,s attack bogged down by Blue Land at least temporarily and he is thinking hard as what to do next before Blue land launches their counter attack.He anticipate at least an armour regiment and brigade of infantry are opposing him

184.D+2 1615 hours the commander western Brigade which is second brigade pooled up from 1X corps is worried man.He has almost put three armour regiments in 7 KM stretch right in middle of               blue land defenses and most frustrating part is that he part from moving further south from Harar- Dehlra line.He has lost thirty tanks so far and enemy tanks which are often in hull down position or covered by Built up area  seems to be scoring much better.Either we clear the Chack Amru complex or continue south otherwise we might lose all our tanks in this fight.General of 4th Armour division gets the point of his dashing  subordinate  and reluctantly allow him to use his discretion.The commander 2nd brigade immediately orders his reserve regiment to move south and advance as far as possible but report if Blue land depth positions is contacted.By 1700 hours he manages to launch his regiment and have contact with Blue land elements about 3 Km south of Harar extending up to railway track Shakar garh -chak Amru.The 2nd brigade commander ask him to mask the position with one squadron and with remaining 2 squadrons advance west in direction of village  Damaan. By 1830 hourhis brigade is behind the Blue land defenses and he is exchanging fire with Damaan  location.

185.D+2 1845 hours the positions of Blue Land at Dhelra,Dhudham khurd have been bypassed and commander 2nd armour brigade expects from his previous experience  that these positions will be abandoned in dark hours and it will be a cake walk for infantry.The information passed on to him from intelligence confirms that these positions are not held by more than 10 to 20 regulars but number of civilians aiding them have very little battle worthiness.He just brush off these thoughts as it was not his problem.
185.The Blue land battalion commander along with commanding officer 113 lancers orders rationing and saving all the supplies in under ground bunkers .The mujhideen commander
is a veteran guerrilla fighter who has broken siege of fox land military many time, he just laughs at the thought of being pressurized by the more numerical strength of Foxland.He has already shown the likely locations of fox land tanks and has prepared his bazuka parties .He is just waiting for dark hours however the regular company commander of Dhelra dhudham complex is quite tense and under the grip of inertia.He sees enemy tanks with in the range heading east but instead of resisting or opening fire he just keeps quite and concentrate towards east in order to defeat any effort of enemy tanks towards Dhelra-Chutar axis which might jeopardize his entire defenses.

186.D+2 1900 hours general headquarter fox land, Army chief of fox land after taking situation report from the front line feeling bit disappointed but is too careful to give his piece of mind to the commander of army group north .His reason is too simple and that is insulting a field commander during the combat might result in him adopting some foolhardy bravado oriented rash action which might prove further catastrophic for the nation and army.He seems to be sick and tired of the Red land allies and the civilians in the prime minister    secretariat who want immediate results from this comparatively low intensity limited war he is waging.The reason for disappointment of higher ups including Red land allies is that Blue land forces have not committed their reserve despite an armour division plus attack on their main land though launched from disputed territory.His opponent has kept his forces compact and has not revealed his hand which surprises army chief a bit ,he expected an out of proportion quick response from Blue land forces but till now enemy has not even counter attacked at even at field level.He visualizes himself as Blue land commander and imagine how he would conduct this war even a thought of it seems dreadful to Fox land commander, thanks God I am not Blue land commander.he wonders that with absolute defense Blue land commander can prolong this war but ultimately has to lose it so what can be counter offensive of Blue land .Fox army chief thinks hard but find no answer and shrugs off the thought may be his opponent does not have any option

187.D+2 1900 hours the tank squadron after bypassing dhudham moves further west  where the anti tank guns from darman position engages them but without much of damage however the squadron commander taking no chance immediately returns fire and reduces his speed of advance to zero by moving tanks in leaps and bounds but finds it bit late when the positions on both flanks bani minhansaan and lagwal opens up taking his 6 tanks in no time he orders retreat but then positions at Dhudham opens up leaving him no choice but resort to box formation and retreat however by the time he reaches village Harar his squadron is written off

188.D+2 ,2000 hours Sucko chak jungle  the Division   commander has moved forward to witness the situation after his second armour brigade meets their Waterloo ,he recommends to the corps commander that without leveling down the village complexes it would be hard for tanks to achieve a break through.He recommends probing attacks by infantry to ascertain the Blue land positions followed by massive air/artillery bombardment and his tanks will  be used as static fire support during infantry assaults.The disappointed corps commander halts any further attacks to reassess the situation and necessary coordination with commander army group north.

189.After reassessing the situation the commander of the corp orders general officer commanding 26 division to clear the villages of Suchochak,nigrota,shahbazpor and chal Amru .All the possible air support will be given.after receiving his task he talks to his corps,s senior most staff officer and request the air support with the aim of completely leveling these villages to ground.The chief staff officer of the corp wonders as to how it will be possible to get this kind of massive support from Fox land air force and even if he bypasses General head quarter which might not be possible it will require more than 24 hours to materialize .He shares his thought with 26th division commander who tells him  ''I will not put my men into built up area till the time I don,t get the required support.I am in no hurry whoever is in hurry should make sure I get what I want?

190.d+3 0600 hours joint command center Blue land forces receives warning of 10 air crafts taking off from anmbala heading in direction of  Pathankote.Forward troops in the region are warned right away.Intelligence indicated the presence of Jaguar squadron at ambala base .The number of air crafts is 14 which alerts the Blue land air force.They may be Jaguars or SU 30,s or combination of both.
191.D+3 0610 hours ChakAmru commander receives warning of air attack he shouts at his subordinate commanders on set but every one can hear some faint sound of air crafts and goes on to the well rehearsed drill of getting down into protection ,the commander gets up to walk towards his bunker but find himself flying in the air.All he could think was that his laziness and sleeping in comfortable first class waiting room of Blue land Railway instead of his well protected bunker has cast him his life.However the seasoned Mujahid commander is no stupid and orders his men to be in the bunkers and be prepared for close combat with enemy infantry once they enter the village after the bombing.The villages of sukho chak, chak Amru , Shahbaz por and Ngrota are reduced to rubble in the air raid which continues for 10 minutes.

192.D+3 0615  hours Blue Land Air force responds right away by destroying Bridges at Samba and Madhupor and continuously start Patrolling the sky,s over Chak Amru to provide cover to the cobra helicopters who quickly move towards Chak Amru before Fox land force begin their assault.They are flying just above ground level and using all possible cover ,in the early morning hours pilot  manage to spot fox land tanks and troops forming up in general area North east of village Kharal.There is no surprise element left for Both parties  as cobra,s move into the complex dodging artillery fire fox land forces start making move towards Chak Amru.Cobra pilots had no previous experience of defensive battle at such a level however they quickly move behind the cover  and position themselves on the flanks of the village and start knocking down the tanks.

193.D+3, 0620 hours attack against chak Amru complex is halted by Cobra detachment alone though they lost on gun ship from a direct tank fire.The defenders of the complex mostly veteran Mujhideen also manage to pop up from rubble and relieve the cobra detachment who hurriedly rush back to their respective hideouts just on the fringes of battle field.
The local commander feels extremely satisfied with the performance of half squadron of gunships which did a job of an armour regiment.
