The movie is awesome. I don't know much about Kubrick. You do realize that the movie scores 8.4/10 on IMDB?

imdb is rated by idiots. Do not pay much attention to it, though, you will get a general idea about movie being good. According to this site the voters think that starwars ESB   is better than Apocalypse Now. That alone says a lot.

Anyways. If you wanna actually see the best movies that were ever made, then go watch Kubrick's work. To begin with ........... watch "a clockwork orange".

Dont know if i have mentioned it already.................... Lincoln Lawyer and michael clayton. The former was better than ok but not the one that i can call great. For average viewer, its an easy 8. I would go 7 as the plot gets rather predictable for me. Michael clayton now is totally different breed. it is not only great movie but has better performances (not that lincoln lawyer was any less in acting department).

So yeah have lots of "judge sahab" for this weekend

Just watched Ghost rider :Spirit of Vengeance

corny movie, poor camera work, over the top Graphics, and pathetic acting by Nick Cage. I am not watching his movies anymore until he starts acting again.

Plot is good, but uneven pacing, the start of movie is lame. As the story develops it gets better.

You should thank god that you didnt watch the other two seasons and a prequel...... otherwise it would have been overload of too much sex, gore and action.

yeah its not for everyone. Anyways, I think sometimes they just include sex for the heck of it but overall, the first two seasons were great.

oh and lets not take this as a lesson in history. its a cheezy drama and thats how far it goes. If anything, watch Rome. that gives a better view of roman work.

Meek's Cutoff.................................its supposed to be a great movie.................. I cannt figure out why though. Barely any dialogues so not much of script. No amazing camera work either. storyline is fine but leaves much much to desire. anyways dont watch it but if you think you have stomach for extremely artsy shmartsy movie then go ahead. see if you can swallow this one.

I really enjoyed the Avengers .... good, strong story. However, for Hulk I think Edward Norton was much better actor for Hulk than Mark Ruffalo.

In my books both are ok. Ruffalo might be even better but we cannt make that statement now as we dont have a hulk movie with ruffalo yet. what you saw in avenger was only 27 minutes of hulk/ruffalo. Not enough script or story telling about hulk to say anything about his Ruffalo's performance.

Expendables 2 was good. Keep your judgement in perspective though. It was an action movie, it was made by actors who built careers on steroid infused bodies and cheesy one liners.

it's just a dishum dishum action movie, but an excellent one in it's genre.

How did ppl like Dark Knight Rises?

I find that many ppl were disappointed because

1) they were expecting another sensational villain performance like Heath Ledger's Joker

2) They couldnt really understand the villain's
Motives or the complex plot (mostly because everyone forgot what happened in the first movie "Batman Begins"

I for one, LOVED it!!! It followed the original comic storyline very closely (SPOILER!!!!: Like bane breaking batman's back, talia al ghul's lov affair with bruce wayne and bane's obsession for her etc) and the action/fight scenes were much better than the first two

Anne hathway's acting and depiction of catwoman was amazing (as i thought it was going to be very cheesy as it was a not so menacing character in previous batman cartoons and tv shows) and Bane (if one looks at it objectively and not hav a prejudice that "no one can top ledger's performance") was actually a scary and decent
Villain.

Overall IMO a much better movie than avengers and a great end to a trilogy
