Please avoid giving away the story line or issue a clear *spoiler alert*
I reckon a lot of us watch movies as a past time, and I thought it'd be good to have a topic as an ongoing review of what's hot and what's not.

Utter Rubbish, it's already being discussed here.
The film is utter ribbhs, really I couldn't think of a worse movie I've seen. It's like 3 hours long i think (or felt that long), no story line, poor action, far too much sex and hours of full frontal male nudity. A very GAY fim.

Excellent movie, well worth a watch. Clint Eastwood at his best. He's foul, he's vile, but you gotta love him, he's a mans man. It's about Clint (an ex-Korea veteran) dealing with the loss of his wife and life as he sued to know it in an ever increasing migrant community.

Dubai Chalo, Mola Jatt. forget any artistic quality, great for a laugh.......
Just watched a French movie called La Haine (the Hate) , great film, highly recommended.
"FOUR YEARS AFTER THE DEATH OF JUSTINIAN, A.D. 569, WAS BORN AT MAKKAH, IN ARABIA THE MAN WHO, OF ALL MEN EXERCISED THE GREATEST INFLUENCE UPON THE HUMAN RACE ... MOHAMMED ..." [John William Draper, M.D., LLD., in his "A History of the lntellectual Development of Europe",- London 1875.]
"I HAVE STUDIED HIM - THE WONDERFUL MAN - AND IN MY OPINION FAR FROM BEING AN ANTI-CHRIST, HE MUST BE CALLED THE SAVIOUR OF HUMANITY." [George Bernard Shaw, in "The Genuine Islam,- Vol. 1, No. 81936.]
Voltaire (on the Jews) :"They are, all of them, born with raging fanaticism in their hearts, just as the Bretons and the Germans are born with blond hair. I would not be in the least bit surprised if these people would not some day become deadly to the human race." (Lettres de Memmius a Ciceron, 1771)
"Our race is the Master Race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves." - Israeli prime Minister Menachem Begin in a speech to the Knesset [Israeli Parliament] quoted by Amnon Kapeliouk, "Begin and the Beasts," New Statesman, June 25, 1982

Hmmmm. the movie is ok to watch but not an 8. its pop corn movie. "watch it forget it" kind of thing. If you liked the first one you will like this one too.
Finally lets keep the quality here. underworld is not a 8 just like star wars will never reach a serious top 10 list of sci fi movies. The purpose of this topic is basically telling the things the way they really are.
Remember someone else is taking your words and gonna watch it.

Once upon a time in America, Sergio Leone's epic, great cast, thought provoking story with the music score by Enio Morricone.
An intresting twist is that since the likes of Warner Bros. ( Jews) were always portraying the Italians as the Mafia, here the Italian producer is having a dig at
the Jews.

Memento -- The movie that india just ripped. I have heard that they made a good remake. but god knows. Thriller. and a really good one too.
The Limey -- " you tell them I'm coming." good movie. thriller drama.
JCVD -- good movie much better than rise of lycan. Action thriller with a very small touch of drama. It was absolute fun to watch it. Its a van dam movie . Yeah i know but you will be surprised like i was after watching it. I guess thats why i liked it.

The Kite Runner -- When i have to tell someone why i dont like "khuda kay liyay": i tell them to watch this one and compare. Absolutely amazing story.
The Mist -- Like stephen King. well this one is for you. Rated by many one of the best book based movies produced in recent years. It was great thing to watch.

so does "The happening" and "Signs" and "the sixth sense". They not only had the same director but also writer and producer :) figure that out. How one falls from that high ground to that low is even more baffling than the watchmen director which by the way to-date have no great work to show. (visually stunning does not mean that 300 is a great work. I love the movie I own a copy but that does not means it goes best in the best work list).
Having said aaaaaaall that, i have not seen the movie yet, so I personally cant say that the movie is good. (i was just giving you example of how people drop the ball. This guy never had the ball so if he dropped it, there shouldnt be a surprise.)

Well that's the dilemma with rating movies, isn't it? What I may find a good movie, may not be liked by others at all. It also depends what kind of genres one is into. I like vampire movies. Generally, speaking most will people will surely like this movie. I'm sure that if a movie scores 6.8 at IMDB it's definitely a good movie worth watching. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0834001/

Perhaps 20 years old but "The Untouchables" is a classic from Brian De Palma, story based around Al-Capone and again music by Enio Morricone hits the note, wardrobe provided by Armani for the 30s era is magnificent.

anyway back to reviews.
"Burn after reading" ............ I dont know what to say about this one. some good performances but story is just not "there". you will have fun watching it but for me it was just another "lock stock and two smoking barrels". and frankly this kind of plot was good maybe once or twice for me but now it seems redundant. Ok so it gets 5. you will watch it and have fun but wouldnt wanna watch it again. Good acting though.
