Brother and sister,
The purpose of this thread is to explore the ways in which we can counter the current ongoing information war against Pakistan and Muslims. We are being targeted not only from the Indian side, the Western as well as Northern side but more importantly, some of our mainstream news channels are also being used by our enemies for this purpose.
People refer to this war as either 'Psy-war' or 'Disinformation war'. It doesn't matter what you call it, what is important is that we understand what it actually is.
The whole game is to spread mis-information about something (a nation, a group, an institution, etc) to discredit it, bring its name into disrepute, create doubts about it in the eyes of the world, create chaos and morale less in the hearts and minds of the people who belong to this nation or group.
The questions needed to be addressed in this thread are:
1. Is this a THREAT to us?
2. Should we respond to this threat?
3. How should we respond to this thread?
4. What should be the SOPs or Protocols following which we should counter this thread?
Ideas are invited from all members.
