In a way you are right if iam div commander my priority will not be enemy war stemina it will be attainment of cirtain objective. In offensive like blitzkrieg once initial dent is made and armour is fanning out the replenishment points and objectives of armour has to be identical it might cost us few chopers but inorder to keep the momentum going it has to be done but highest degree of coordinatrion is required between the arms and services other replenishment heli.s might land into enemy terratory, sometimes additional infantry might be required to clear out some dug out tanks but still lot to be done on imagination of local commander secondly the fighting arms supporting arms and services concept is little out dated this is my opinion now whole army is fighting arm and we need to reorganise our forces the basic unit has to be a combine arm team with integral supply ammonition repair and replenishment integrall artillary and armourd but it has to be one unit and move in one group

Logistics is the sore point of our army....and worse thing is that it is something towards which no attention is being given...especially in deserts, even during exercises, logistics rapidly break down which is alarming enough!
Still fighting in the barren land....

Army should get involved in railway through NLC.
It already did. IIRC an agreement was signed many weeks ago between PR and NLC. NLC will pay for the repair of a 30 locomotives and in return NLC will get the right to use 15 of them for 3 years (for transporting freight).
