Assalam-o-Alakum!! Salam!! I went to Pakistan this summer Mashallah and had a fun time. I didn't feel like coming back. Well anyways. At the new airport, I saw the Australian Steyr Augs being used by Pakistan police/army. I don't remember which one it was, whether the army or the police because it was early in the morning and I was really tired, but I was pretty surprised to see them in Pakistani service. I thought Pakistan was going to induct them, didn't know that Pakistan had already inducted them.

Well anyways, hope to hear some response from you guys, take care. Bye.

Thanks.
KHUDA HAFIZ!!

Mosaegah bro are you Iranian or Pakistani ?

Hayden and Sehwag can afford bluster; if they go, they have Ponting, Gilchrist, Sachin or Dravid. But if Inzamam falls, as John Wright's fist-pumping celebration at Kolkata in the second innings suggested, half the battle with Pakistan is often won.

Assalam-o-Alakum!! Salam!! My family's from Iran but I was born in Pakistan so I consider myself half Iranian, and half Pakistan.

I'm talking about the new Lahore airport. I was surprised to see them. My eye were wide open.
They looked a bit used up if you know what I'm talking about. That means that they'll be given to every soldier in the Pakistan army and then most of the AK-47s and G3's will be put in reserve.
Man, Pakistan has changed so much in three years.
The new police pick-up trucks (Toyota) and the Army ones are so nice. The army ones are double cabins and the police ones are mostly single cabin. Oh and the Rangers' pick-up trucks are light blue. They all look really nice. The new police Santros look nice too. The government has taken off most of the tax on foreign cars so now Suzuki, and Toyota, and Honda who sell cars at double their price will bring the prices down because people will import second hand cars from abroad instead of buying a new one from the manufacturers because they'll be too expensive. The Pakistani economy is going up Mashallah.

I"m happy. (IMG:http://forum.pakistanidefence.com//style_emoticons/PDFEmotionIconsv10/CLAPING.GIF) (IMG:http://forum.pakistanidefence.com//style_emoticons/PDFEmotionIconsv10/CLAPING.GIF)

Thanks.

Steyer AUG been with ASF since 1986-87 , they were ordered by commander of ASF of that time an ex SSG brigerdier(he was colenel in SSG) & with SSG so one must not be surprised if the Army is now adopting this assault rifle it,This weapon has proved that it maintains well in hot and humid climate of Australia and middle east and also the Alpine environment.Apart from being light weight and easy to maintain like its to be predessor ie G3 it requires simple training.

U must have seen it with the ASF ie airport security force. Pakistans special forces ie SSG and naval marines use em extesively specially the naval marines as it is there primary weapon. I for the moment dont see it being inducted into the regular forces, as they are very happy with the G-3 n its performace n also POF has come up with a lighter version of the G-3 with some modifications making it even better.
