Mybe you are hongkongese or taiwanese.My old house in my hometown which were builded in qing dynasty have lots of distiches,and they were writen in classical Chinese.

Its not 30 more but rather the total of JF-17 is going to be 30 in coming weeks when 9 planes come out of manufacturing line.

i agree, probably 12-18 months till the first 50 are completed
and we need 12-18 months to let J-20 tech trickle across the CAC campus (i'm gonna call it "PandaWorks" in honor of Lockheed's "Skunkworks" most advanced development design bureau) and be applied to the J-10 and JF-17

JF-17 Thunder project a ‘flagship’ of Pak-China friendship :  PM

KAMRA, Feb 8 (APP):  Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday extended his government’s full support for the continuity of JF-17 Thunder aircraft programme, and said the project would prove a flagship of Pak-China friendship.“This project can truly become a flagship of our historic cooperation and strengthen our time-tested partnership,” the Prime Minister said while addressing a gathering of Pakistani and Chinese technicians during his visit to the JF-17 production facility here at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.
Gilani lauded the pace of JF-17 Thunder programme which had moved into serial production stage in a record time.
The cost-effective, multi-role combat aircraft has been specifically designed to meet the tactical and strategic needs of the Pakistan Air Force.
The first batch of the high performance, low-cost 50 JF-17 Thunder aircraft will be equipped with Chinese and Pakistani avionics and missiles, while later aircraft will sport more advanced radars and missiles.

Gilani, who earlier went around different sections of the facility, expressed satisfaction that the project milestones were being accomplished in an efficient and timely manner.
He also acknowledged role of Chinese experts for imparting technical know-how to the Pakistani technicians for the transfer of technology.
“The support provided by our Chinese friends in this, and in so many other common projects between Pakistan and China is greatly cherished by every Pakistani,” he said.
The Prime Minister termed the project a reflection of deeper bond between the two governments and the people.
“The success of the project would add another glorious chapter in our long history of cooperation,” he said.
He said Pakistan Air Force with a initiative like JF-17 program was not only rendering valuable services for strengthening the national defence but also providing a valuable opportunity to the youth.
“It is an opportunity involving a more constructive and positive approach to life that offers education, livelihood and training and leading to a better life,” he said.
Gilani exhorted all the personnel associated with the project to commit all “faculties of body and soul” for its success.
He expressed hope that with Allah’s blessing and commitment, many more laurels shall come in shape of timely completion of projects.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rao Suleman Qamar said that with the support of the government, 22 JF-17 aircraft had been inducted into the 26th squadron of the PAF, while eight others were in various stages of tests and trials.
He said the aircraft, whose production began on June 13, 2009 and the first made-in-Pakistan rolled out on 23rd Nov 2009, has successfully made its presence felt at the air shows at Farnborough, UK and Zhuhai, China. He said that the aircraft also participated in the Highmark and the Azm-e-Nau exercises.
He said a number of air forces around the world were eyeing the new entrant into the arena with keen interest.
The Air Chief presented to the Prime Minister a gift of a statue of an Air Force pilot - a symbol of determination to succeed despite all odds.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was apprised that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra was now providing three major computer systems for the JF-17 aircraft.  
These include Weapon Mission Management Computer, Electro-Mechanical Management Computer and Light Warning Computer.
The PAC was currently producing three aircraft a month and with a larger facility would be able to increase production and enable Pakistan earn a handsome foreign exchange.

According to information available from the PAC Kamra, the aircraft is capable of carrying some of the most modern and conventional weapons, including 70-100 Km range Beyond Visual Range missiles, infra red short range missiles, Air to sea missiles anti-radiation missiles, laser guided weapons, programmable delays cluster bombs runway penetration bombs, general purpose bombs and 23 mm double barrel gun.

As of now, what do we know about the JF-17 Thunder program development? We know that the Thunders are capable of carrying Air-to-Ground weapons, but which ones? Would the Thunders have the capability to use weapons similar to Paveway IVs? What about the Thunder's BVR Air-to-Air capability? Is that currently under tests & evaluations? Also, is Pakistan Air Force pursuing western radars and missiles for the next block of Thunders or they've completely given up on that option? With regards to the engines, when would the JF-17 Thunders be powered by WS-13 Taishan engines?

On a different note, we haven't heard anything about the J-10B development after its initial announcements. Particularly with regards to Pakistan Air Force suppose to be taking delivery in 2014. What has been the progress on J-10B's engines? Would it be certified to fly with the FWS-10 engines? And speaking of engines, what is the claimed thrust of FWS-13 engines? Are they superior to the current RD-93s which are powering Thunders at the moment? Lastly, is Pakistan Air Force resolving the issues with Thunder's engine's black smoke?

all this talk of adding a gazillion more hardpoints reminds me of what hitler did to the ME 262; killing its great advantage of speed by adding the illadvised payload of bombs.

I'm really hoping for CFTs and IFR..im not expecting anything else either..maybe, just maybe, the chinese engine too, but its probably too soon for that

What level of stealth is possible, considering the budget of PAF and costs etc? JF-17 is a small fighter, can big enough weapon bays be added to it, at least to carry 4 Air to air missiles? Or we'll never see a fully stealth version of JF-17?

JF-17 is a small light weight fighter aircraft.

It can NEVER become stealthy. Maybe 20-30% more and even that its pushing it.

It also CAN NOT get an internal weapons bay as then it will not have enough space for fuel to fly for even 15 minutes....

Unless China comes up with something along the lines of MICA that works both as BVR and WVR at the same time......2 BVRs and 2 WVRs are what we will all see on JF-17 for a long time in standard Air to Air configuration.

and since it will be PAFs workhorse, therefore, most likely to face the attacking Indian SU-30s and to hold on to its own against the SU30 MKIs:

it better F***ing stay small and lightweight !

Rungroot paa jee! how are your dreamz going? Jf-17 jo pahlay milestone tha ab khawab banta jaa raha hai. Zardari, Gillani criminal PM  and rest of the PPP criminals are eating up our economy. Manu aay dasoo kay paisa kithoon lay aoo gay???. Gillani refused to write letter to Swiss govt. He is convicted and also refusing to step down from his post. We are talking about 500 million dollars stolen money and Gillani is simply helping zardari to get away with it. Matter fact the money is already transferred to two different unknown firm. PPP'S leader fawad chaudhary kutta  threatened openly  by saying that whoever will come  in their way will be wiped out. He said it live on the Dr. Danish's show. There is no law in Pakistan under the Zardari kutta's regime. Do you think Zardari khanzeer will let it happen????
