for pilgrimage, they may prefer a cow who does 10 times more dung and pee.
Pakistan needs to explore this option to balance the trade with india.

episode is half full glass, choon choon ka murabba of half truths.
he isn't good at quoting Iqbal's poetry. most of time, he reads it wrong.
1. the one about Sharif Hussain of Makkah. (read wrongly twice)
2. About Fatima of Tripoli.(read wrong again)
another thing, per my assesment, his knowledge of history is above average for last 200 years.
but he is wrong about Istanbul not being captured during WW1. http://en.wikipedia....ion_of_Istanbul
November 13, 1918 to September 23, 1923, Istanbol was under allies control.
he also seems to have not even read the earlier history of Islam. (first couple of centuries)
somehow, every muslim ruler is afraid of teaching history to people at all, they don't want to be nude.
his theory of "Roohani taqat" is built out of thin air like paper currency:-) if he is presenting it as a religious viewpoint, still there is no single sect or school of thought that supports it.
his expectations from our Pakistani Army are very unrealistic.
our Army is designed in such a way that our proud regiments fought under British raj during WW1, to break the Khilafat, and are still proud of it.
for last 6 dacades we are fighting for them in name of UN peace keeping and war on terror, and are proud of it.
proudest "Mujahid" Zia ul Haq, that we have been able to produce till today was called by Shah Hussain,(grandson of Sharif e makkah cursed by Iqbal above) to butcher the palestinians. and he "did the job".
we have been bodygaurding Americans in Somalia.
we need to admit that we are living in continuation of colonial rule. larnay wali fauj koi aur hogi, then why decieve ourselves?
to date, we proudly purge every "fundamentalist" from Army after every few years.
I have been a part of this fauj, and I know what I type
I have simple question for everybody, if Afghanistan's , or Iraq's current Armies, built by Americans remain in control by US presence or equipment aid, for say another 50 years, how will it "convert" into something else?
anyway, program is fine and motivating one, part 6 was posted a bit later, and he answerd some issues.
u can call all of this, "the darker side of half truths", for which I have decided to speak, risking my membership on this forum. go ahead if this is unacceptable

Whta we need most at this time is awareness of our potentials and a better future goal, and ofcourse unity, faith and discipline
What makes a nation's pillars high And it's foundations strong?
What makes it mighty to defy The foes that round it throng?
It is not gold. Its kingdoms grand Go down in battle shock;
Its shafts are laid on sinking sand, Not on abiding rock.
Is it the sword? Ask the red dust Of empires passed away;
The blood has turned their stones to rust, Their glory to decay.
And is it pride? Ah, that bright crown Has seemed to nations sweet;
But God has struck its luster down In ashes at his feet.
Not gold but only men can make A people great and strong;
Men who for truth and honor's sake Stand fast and suffer long.
Brave men who work while others sleep, Who dare while others fly...
They build a nation's pillars deep And lift them to the sky

1. Muslims need unity, for strength as well as to obey Allah's will. who ever breaks unity within muslims should be worried about his faith and consequences.
2. Establishment of a new Khilafah may be a logical outcome of this unity.
3. Currently, sectarianism is the major thing that is harming unity.
4. Mullah's can't live without sects. they will choke to death without it.
5. Sects represent Islam not more than American corporations represent American People, or World Bank represent mankind, or, Altaf Bhai represents people of sindh.
6. second biggest disease is nationalism. the "nations" that define our 57 countries are defined around tribes, languages, or mineral resource only. I can't imagine if all of them even qualify to be provinces within the next Khilafah (or Islamic superstate).
about last khilafah.
1. Muslim masses guided (or misguided) by mullah have a typical phelosophy of "Jehra jittay ohday naal (JJUN). they have made it a part of faith now. thats why we have 4 khulfa e rashidin. for those who don't study history, 7th was Yazeed, who was Rashid too for quiet some time, till Umayyads lost control. it is ironic that most sects activelty struggling for Khilafah today still call him a legitimate Khalifah. (Name of AlQaeda's spokesman for last few interviews is "Abu-Yazeed")
2. There is no guidline about how to select a Khalifa. major tool used to decide it throughout the history has been a danda. who ever holds is. Turks had the danda from 16th century onwards, so they had this honour with them for centuries without question.
3. it worked ok, till TUrky was weakend by european wolfpacks attacking Ottomans one after another for more than a century. most of us even don't know, that Ottomans fought very bravely but they were alone. they couldn't keep muslims involved.
Here is a quick summary of those wars. It was very brave for Turks to sustain for so long.
The Greek War of Independence, taking place from 1821 to 1832, in which the Great Powers intervened from 1827, including Russia (Seventh Russo-Turkish war, 1828-1829), achieved independence for Greece; the Treaty of Adrianople ended the war.
Wars with Bosnia 1831-1836, 1836-1837, 1841.
War with Montenegro 1852-1853.
Eighth Russo-Turkish war 1853-1856, Crimean War, Ended with the Treaty of Paris.
Second war with Montenegro in 1858-1859.
War with Montenegro, Bosnia and Serbia in 1862.
Cretan Uprising in 1866.
Bulgarian Rebellion in 1876.
The ninth and final Russo-Turkish war started in 1877, the same year the Ottomans withdrew from the Conference of Constantinople. Romania then declared its independence and waged war on Turkey, joined by Serbians and Bulgarians and finally the Russians . Bosnia was occupied by Austria in 1878. The Russians and the Ottomans signed the Treaty of San Stefano in early 1878. After deliberations at the Congress of Berlin, which was attended by all the Great Powers of the time, the Treaty of Berlin, 1878 recognized several territorial changes.
Eastern Rumelia was granted some autonomy in 1878, rebelled in 1885 and joined Bulgaria in 1886. Thessalia ceded to Greece in 1881, but after Greece attacked the Ottoman Empire to help the Second Cretan Uprising in 1897, Greece was broken in Thessalia.
Macedonian insurrection from 1903.
1912-1913: Balkan Wars
Two Balkan Wars, in 1912 and 1913, involved further action against the Ottoman Empire in Europe. The Balkan League first conquered Macedonia and most of Thrace from the Ottoman Empire, and then fell out over the division of the spoils. Albania also declared independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1912, after several rebellions and uprisings. This reduced Turkey's possessions in Europe (Rumelia) to their present borders in Eastern Thrace.
Major cause of fall of Khilafah was Turk nationalism.
blaming Jews doesn't justifies everything. till we don't try to learn from our mistakes, we keep on repeating them.
read history for lessons. Turk pride took them to grave. during last few dacades of empire, it accelerated like hyperinflation causing a market crash. do read about "Young turks movement"
also read role and issues of contamporary PanIslamism of Jamal uddin Afghani
u need to spend 30 minutes on internet for details. Muslims people ruled by them, were not on the same page, intentionally or otherwise. but this harmed them.
Turks came from central Asia, converted , ruled, and officially have left, facing towards europe.
If they need Islam, they may return, but Islam doesn't depend upon them. it is here to stay.same rule is valid for Hind, sindh, Misr, Iran, or even Arabs.
Quran Says if you don't help islam, Allah will replace you with better people. it has happened before, and can happen again.

47:38 Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah. But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!

47:7 O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

6:159 As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah. He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did.
(Most misused Ayat by our molvi. they lie about the usage of word Shia in it, trying to further divide muslims. I am afraid to even imagine their fate over this cheating.)

3:139 So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith.

9:33 It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

61:9 It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

48:28 It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
we can discuss Khilafah only if people here are interested. or you can use your internet to do the research independently.

wikipedia is the MOST unauthentic source to quote for even a Sh.it
And your compaign against mr Zaid and his program should have rung a bell at least f your BSsssssss so far you have posted should have been taken care of
well Mr.|| Miss JANA, (trying to guess from your language), I respect your view in either case.
I am not against Mr. Zaid and I support most of stuff he talks about.
and we can always discuss if you have any problem with my views about him.
I just say that currently some people like Ahmed Quershi and Your Sir. Zaid are being misused to confuse public about Musharaf. it may end up into suspension of another democratic govt in Pakistan. and it will be really bad for both our army and country.
I care about army, as I have been a part of it.
slogans like Ghazwa e Hind are exciting, but it doesn't justify another Ghazwa on Islamabad. this is exactly what COAS means, when he talks about keeping army away from politics.
few days back, I talked about Mr. Zaid making funny mistakes during his programs, and yesterday, I have just compiled a list of them at runtime, while listening the latest episode.
if list is wrong, you can prove it. wikipedia is "BAD" but they can't afford to lie about the size of issues you are angry about.
here are more refrences for u.

Now as far as his reading from the paper well for your kind information he never reads from paper. I am saying so beacuse i had seen the paper you are talking about its just like table of contents and not like the one you are talking about.
Anyway brasstacks donst protect or support Musharraf.
BTW i recall your accusation about he and qureshi bought the gold

And one more thing why dont you meet him to know the reality

Regards Jana (miss) ;)
sorry that buying gold thing was just a humor.(I remember I used the word guess or may be.)
yes he talks without paper. working some more on accuracy of content can make him more reliable.
I feel very odd about his bundling with Ahmad qureshi lobby.(an open Musharaf supporter)
this Jamaluddin Afghani needs to avoid Mustafa Kamals.
I am currently abroad, but we can use email, or this forum to talk.

The Western world, in spite of its advantages of mechanization and industrial efficiency is today in a worse mess than ever before in history. The adoption of Western economic theory and practice will not help us in achieving our goal of creating a happy and contented people.
We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of happiness and prosperity of mankind."

thanks for classifying me as a scholar...........I don't claim to be one.
Coming back to Zaid sahib, I v just seen part 4 of Yaum e Takbir special. it is impressive too, but..................he repeated another sentence again, that I feel is highly inaccurate. "Iraq sab say bara Muslim Mulk tha".
we don't need to go to a library for to confirm this.
By chance, I have lived in Iraq for 7 years of my life, at peak of its peace and war both. Iraq was best welfare state among Arab countries. But it has never been sab say bara musalman mulk. rather it changed to sab say bura mulk when it decided to strangle Iran with no good reason, just using linguistic, ethnic, and Nationalistic hate, and calling it Qadsyah 2. majority of Arabs think same about it even today................like SaudiArabian here.
I was brought up in Ramadi and Fallujah, so don't just guess that I am talking from Najaf or Karbala. Yet I want to blame Iraq for fate of Ummah today. my street friends died in Gulf war 1, and then Iraq war, and I feel the pain of Iraqi nation. but it doesn't justify the "original sin" of attacking Iran for no good reason. instead may be the logical progression of that sin.
in numbers you can compare Iraq with Sindh + Balochistan provinces of Pakistan (exclude Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta to to balance the population)
Neighbouring Iran and saudia are 4 and 5 times bigger in size.
Neighbouring Turkey and Iran are both more than double of Iraq in population.
Muslim country Sudan is 6 times larger than Iraq by area.
Muslim Indonesia is 8 times bigger, and Pakistan is some 6 times bigger than Iraq.(by population)
good scholars need to be more accurate.

3000 billion tonnes and 1100 billion tonnes per year as he said.
it means every person in world eating 1.3 tonne food per day.
simple fix is to replace billion with million, or tonne with kg.
then it may be ok, around 3 lb per person per day.

we r really poor @ history.
I hope Zaid sb knows the difference, but he didn't try to clarify either.
Luqman doesn't know that "blessed chidren of Israel" mentioned in Darood e Ibrahimi, are about pre Jesus. they got cursed since they tried to kill Hazrat Isa (AS).
After Islam came, Jews are "Maghzoob e Alaihim" due to refuting Islam.

there is so much mess all around due to the "Chor bhi kahay chor chor" theory, that we can't decide who is true and who is lying.
in this program, he is working as mouthpiece of Musharaf, telling "Conspiracy theory" responsible for fall of Musharaf.
here are major paradoxes they won't talk about.
two largest reasons of Moshe's fall are, Suspension of CJ and Lal Masjid. both were done by musharaf to please USA.
how he can blame others for this situation?

Bro,
Just want to talk about this LM issue. (Not relating to Zaid Hamid's view)...Something I never got understand was behavior of our media. Everyone in media was aware the outcome of a action in LM but still media around 2-3 days prior to operation start telling about the problems of locals due to curfew... and they only showing peoples saying that Govt. must end this situation now. I was wondering why everyone is demanding an action no one was talking about negotiations and anything else. Another think, Media pre-action and post-action was totally different. Remember, death of colon (don't remember name) and all those guys with guns and gas masks firing on police and rangers. BUT after operation media was totally painting another side, totally opposite. No body was talking about extremism. Only thing on media was; MASOOM BACHE and PAK ARMY KA ZULAM.
Now thing is what was media playing:
1- Just to fill the air time with "whatever they got"... (Like most of time they do)
2- Was not aware of anything and were force to change their views after operation.
3- Was doing it on saying of someone.... (To defame Army)
Another thing which i am not able to get is what about causalities of SSG. 12 dead on spot and some 20 odd injured... Why media never showed them just for once? NO body knows even the name of any single one of those who died (from SSG). Did Army asked media not to report any of those men who died in operation?
When i start thinking about all this keeping otherside in mind; I really got confused. I remember, World View From Islamabad's episode when AQ asked Zaid, "What Govt. must do now?"...Reply from Zaid was ,"Agar Islamabad se 400 ya 500 lashee nikle tu bohat bura ho ga..." unfortunately this was exactly what happened. Now this think will go into history for very long time and it will keeping teasing us as a nation and it will keep raising questions about loyalty of our troops to people.
WE RELAY PISSED OFF by this damn operation. (So many suicide bombing in pretext of LM)
AS for as 3rd Nov. is concerned.... I am 1000% agree with you. 3rd Nov. and NRO were two eorst things Musharraf gave us and these two things will remain his legacy.
Bait Ullah Mehsud's backing is something not a secret now. CIA never killed anyone fighting with Pakistan Army is a FACT not a Conspiracy. not giving US direct access to Dr. AQ Khan is not a Conspiracy but a FACT. Zardari is a new mole of CIA is a FACT. (Reason he will never restore CJ).

there is so much mess all around due to the "Chor bhi kahay chor chor" theory, that we can't decide who is true and who is lying.
in this program, he is working as mouthpiece of Musharaf, telling "Conspiracy theory" responsible for fall of Musharaf.
here are major paradoxes they won't talk about.
two largest reasons of Moshe's fall are, Suspension of CJ and Lal Masjid. both were done by musharaf to please USA.
how he can blame others for this situation?
hello ganja, nice to see you on PDF.
