iran is locally producing AH 1 , a JV with them can be considered . AH 1 is a proven , reliable and given the new upgrades, a potent platform
3) overhaul of remaining armor fleet, esp the old T 59s that have not undergone Al zarrar upgrade, least of which is night fighting capability
4) dedicated comm protocol for the military, 3G speed wireless secure data nodes atleast at brigade level to be issued to formation commanders . encrypted e mailing( already under implementation ) etc to minimize spoofing which is relatively easy on commercial networks/servers which the military is getting too accustomed to use
5) over all transformation of PA into a lean, mean and mobile fighting machine. new doctrines to make it happen, ( much has been done in this area btw )
