Militants attacked a security checkpost along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Bajaur tribal agency early on Saturday, killing three personnel including a captain, officials said.
Official sources say that militants from across the border in Kunar province of Afghanistan attacked the security check-post in Mamond area in the small hours of Saturday.
The attack also injured two other people, they said.
