What do you guys consider about Jibran Nasir. He is a normal Pakistani from Karachi who held a candle lit vigil (on an unrelated note I find these vigils odd) for the Shaheed of the Peshawar school attacks outside Lal masjid. He chose the location because of the khawarij mullah burkas statements against these children in support of their killers.

Even the TTP has threatened him but he will not relent.

While I am one of those people who shared the video he made on facebook, I must say that the precedent he and other activists are setting is a dangerous one. The government should let them protest at some other venue. Protesting right infront of Laal Masjid will eventually lead to confrontation which is something that should never be on their cards. Reminds me of Hamid Meer that if his culprits wont be brought to book, he would protest in front of GHQ.

That said, I heard that phone call of self-proclaimed Ehsan ullah Ehsan. In all honesty, the caller sounded defeated and lacked the assertiveness that any spokesman of TTP would show in ordinary circumstances. Its authenticity has yet to be verified.

PS: The guy is a law graduate, worked for Dawn and is now running an NGO.He also contested election from a constituency of Khi but couldnt make it.

I see the fault line for a clash of cultures, but its civilization versus barbarians, we must fight that fight one day or another. We can either draw the lines and stand or we can ignore them and watch them pick at up like they did in the Peshawar school attack.

Just for the record, I was there in the protest in front of Aabpara Police Station a few days back to register the FIR against Mullah Abdul Aziz Burqa wala. About 400 max showed up & all of them were from the most elite & affluent families of the city, the ones who have probably never even faced loadsheding in their homes & have never read an Urdu newspaper. It was rather nice seeing these people for the first time working for something which goes in favor of Pakistan instead of just blindly consuming & then regurgitating narratives created by anti-Pakistan lobbies from all around the world.

 

NGO wali Farzana bari was there too. Proved she is infinitely better than the evil traitor Asma Jahangir who simply disappeared after Peshawar attack & resurfaced a few days later only to condemn the death penalty for terrorists.

It's pretty good to see those types get down from their ivory towers and participate in society. If the strong won't stand up, what hope do the weak have. Kudos to the wealthy for being selfless for once.

I actually support those protesting in front of that hijacked mosque all masjid. its our mosque not these khawarji occupiers.

after the intial statememt by mullah aziz burkha... the lal masjid figured out they are on the wrong side of history and held their own "protest" saying they are against those who carried out the Peshawar attack.... too little too late I say.

on the other hand... I have great reservations about any NGO group in Pakistan... they are mostly unwittingly agents of the haarami dejaali United Nation.... so I hope the protest doest get hijacked by islamaphobic neo liberals... just as the mosque is hijacked by khawarij.

I actually surprised this mosque of hate is still allowed to be run by the enemies of the state right in the capital!?!?... a case of "keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer" by the intelligence agency?... I say its time to bury all these khawarij fithna to death.

The hadith by the Prophet indicates that these khawarij will rise up in the Last Days.. and the command is to kill them where ever you find them! This is in Saahi Bukhari. So ask yourself... why did this command for the khwarij come?... no other fithna group was given this sentence... so why the khawarij?... because they cannot be reasoned with!... so please close that mosque!!

In light of above report, the onus is on the interior ministry's chief Chaudhry Nisar to apprehend Aziz and throw him into jail along with his militants for land grabbing and terrorist activities. 

 

Lets see what the PML-N does about it.

You are right. Ch.Nisar did not even utter a word about Lal Masjid, Jamia Hafsa that have been operating right under his nose.

Alot of Jamia Hafsa students who were captured after Operation Silence, joined the TTP and other militant groups to fight against the army.
