I got a message from one of my good friends here who is in the Islamic Financial Services Board, it is as follows:
I have been asked to name some of the good students who want to pursue the above program. I would like to take this opportunity to request the members to spread this message to your friends and relatives to apply for the program. As per my knowledge there are 70 seats and half are for the foreign students. We should try to take opportunity to get maximum people in the Islamic finance field from Pakistan. I am glad to share that one of our sister (from SBP) Pakistani has been privileged to be nominated for the best award in CIFP in the recent convocation Feb 2009. The reason why i am saying loudly is because there are many people who are looking for this opportunity and they don't know the opportunity (with special reference to funding issue). Below is the precise information about subject above.
International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) invites applications for the Chartered Islamic Finance Program (CIFP) Full-time Programme
commencing June 2009, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Applicants should be fluent in English, and have an honours degree in any discipline.
Graduates from Sciences, Engineering, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Law and IT disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Financing for a limited number of successful applicants is available.

This is the flag of Islam, for you cannot separate the Muslim league from Islam. Many people misunderstand us when we talk of Islam, particularly our Hindu friends. When we say this flag is the flag of Islam, they think that we are introducing religion into politics, A FACT OF WHICH WE ARE PROUD. Islam gives us a complete code. It is not only a religion, but it contains laws, philosophy and politics. It contains everything that matters to a man from morning to night. When we talk of Islam, we take it as an all embracing word.

I would have loved to apply but i am still one year short of graduation(I am doing BBA).
However, i would like to know more.What is the tuition fee? How long is the program?
Is this scholarship available every year?

The prgram is offered twice a year, and has aduration of 12 months plus an additional 6 months internship. The total fees for the 12 months program is 20,000 Malaysian Ringit (around 5,500 USD or 440,000 PKR). Im not sure if scholarships are offered regularly. For more information visit the following:
