Germany sells nuclear-capable submarine to Israel

Germany's security council approved the sale of Tanin submarines to Israel; they were received by Tel Aviv secretly last month.

According to the German news agency DPA, the board also approves the sale of parts for the development of two submarines to Colombia, as well as spare parts, especially for helicopters, according to letters written sent by German Deputy Chancellor and Minister for Economy and Energy Sigmar Gabriel to a parliamentary committee.

The Tanin submarine, the largest submarine built in Germany, can be used to launch a nuclear attack, costs €1 billion, however the German government agreed to pay one-third of the cost.

The Indians can strike us with nuclear weapons, it doesn't stop us defending ourselves.

If we had willing and courageous leadership, the same will apply to Israel or anyone else.

I think most sensible people wouldn't use nuclear weapons, the Zionists probably would, but the end result would be no more Israel. If the end goal is to protect Israeli territory and population, it only makes sense to use nuclear weapons if you have nothing left to defend. Assume they lost the territory, would the risk total annihilation of their people too via a second strike? No.

I think the same is true of the Pakistan-India scenario, assume either nation lost Kashmir, would they launch nuclear weapons and lose hundreds of millions of people too (in retaliatory strikes). I don't think so.
