No, Sunday you will get the first taste!  The reason for the sticky thread is so that we can keep the flow in the "Messiah" series. To put it succintly, I don't want idiots to "fu*k my Sh*t up".  My own FORUM is great with the grace of Allah. I also have a PDF_OPENFORUM@yahoogroups.com, (PDF stands for: Pakistan Defense Forces), however it is by invitation only, it means that you have to be to special to be invited.
 
As I told you guys before, the PAF_OPENFORUM is for military folks. There is no need to preach to the choir. The 'cult' is ready to be let loose--they are itching for action. This is why when I say that I can look someone up; that is my outreach program; my long arms, as some might say.

Huge rally held by Hizbul Mujahideen in Muzaffarabad openly today. Its been a long time since there was such an open display of force by a Kashmiri liberation group in Pakistan. What do you make of it?

 

 

I was somewhere and Amir Hamza (Jamat ud Dawah) was a speaker there and he said something and I see things moving in that direction now. He said that once the Americans leave Afghanistan there will be a large number of battle hardened Mujahideen left in their wake. He said that even though the Government had put Kashmir on the back burner for now, things would have to change then. This time around the Mujahideen would have been trained not in camps but in the battlefield against a super power and these guys would really turn up the heat in Kashmir.

 

I took it more of a pumping up the crowd speech then anything else. However things seem to be moving in the direction - maybe things would've move a bit slower, but Modi's actions are going to act like a catalyst. Or rather are acting like a catalyst. Last 10-15 years, the issue of Kashmir had been given only lip service and that too was decreasing. Now we hear the issue being mentioned repeatedly.

 

Geo and Co. had done a great job in giving the impression that Kashmir was unsolvable and we should probably forget about it (and Musharaf's stance didn't help either) and than came Zardari and NS they took it up a notch. Now, things seem to be moving back.

 

There is one danger this time around - I think we've all seen the picture of IS flag in Kashmir. Once the fire is turned up things could take a very different direction. Previously, Mujahideens followed a no civilians policy, but the crop is not limited to that as we've seen here also. Once things go up, they could get out of control fast. If jihad in Kashmir takes it's own form, it would be difficult to keep things the way they used to be i.e. only military targets and that too primarily in Kashmir. 

 

What would be India's reaction if things start to turn the way they did in Pakistan? Would we be able to contain them if things started to go in that direction? If we decide to not support the jihad there, and the people of Kashmir turn to IS for support? We have to remember that jihad is becoming an international enterprise now - not limited to countries, and indeed it has taken a life of its own, Once the fire is lit, will we be able to take it out if things start moving in a direction we don't want?

One interesting thing about this in the context of the discussion is that IS (Daish) has condemned this attack - They have their own (sectarian) reasons for it though.

 

Wonder what the significance of this attack is - Wagah border is a strange choice.

You got a point there in that the battle-hardened Mujahideen could be 'facilitated' to turn their attention to Kashmir, eventually. Kashmir may or may not fall.

 

But before that I am sure that Pakistan as is known until then would have ceased to exist. Because these same elements would have overrun Islamabad either overtly through a total takeover or covertly through the takeover of some vital institutions like the ISI and begun enforcing their barbaric methods across Pakistan. Yeah, be ready to live in that twilight of civilization called middle ages.

 

Kashmir as a cause will last only until Islamabad falls. Because Kashmir does not have much significance in the Wahhabi aspirations. In fact no particular region is important for them except the places where Islam originated. Everything else, and every other people would be only incidental.

Killing a human like they did in syria or irak and co is totaly haram !

We need to consolidate our State, we have to make Pakistan stronger by educating, by developping infrastructure etc. If we succed in this way, we will free Kashmir ourself !

Do I have need to remind that playing with snakes leads one day or another to be bitten by those snakes...

Militant extremism is like fire lit among piles of tinder. It will definitely catch fire. But, it will spread into other piles also, in fact many unintended piles in the end, it would be very destructive.

TTP splinter groups claim Wagah attack; 60 dead

 

LAHORE: At least 60 people were killed on Sunday in a blast near the Wagah border, the responsibility of which was claimed separately by the outlawed Jundullah and TTP-affiliated Jamaat-ul-Ahrar outfits.

Victims include 10 women and seven children, while more than 110 people have been injured.

Punjab police chief Inspector General Mushtaq Sukhera told AP that the bomb exploded outside a restaurant near a paramilitary soldiers' checkpoint at Wagah border on the outskirts of Lahore city. He also added that the explosion could have been the result of a suicide blast.

Lahore police chief Amin Wains confirmed it was a suicide attack. “People were returning after watching the parade at Wagah border when the blast took place. Ball bearings were found at the scene,” he said.

Emergency has been declared at all hospitals in Lahore. Prime Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the explosion and called for a report on the incident.

Wagah is the only road border crossing between the Indian city of Amritsar and the Pakistani city of Lahore.

An Indian security official told Reuters that the Indian side of Wagah border is “safe” after blast on Pakistani side.

Undeterred by attack, even bigger crowd turn up at Wagah today

LAHORE: Undeterred by one of the worst suicide bomb attacks in Pakistan’s history on Sunday which left 60 people dead and over 100 injured, a large number of people attended a parade at Wagah border today and filled the air with resounding slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

Sunday’s cowardly attack failed to mar the spirits of Pakistani nation, as Today’s parade proved that Pakistani people love their motherland more than anything else and they are ready to sacrifice their lives when it comes to their country’s honour and defence.

Core Commander Lt Gen Naveed Zaman, DG Rangers and high-ranking police officers were also present on the occasion.

The high-spirited crowd, including women and children, chanted vociferous slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ (long live Pakistan) and ‘Dehshat Gardi Murdabad’ (down with terrorism).

“We equally share the grief of family members who lost their loved ones in the yesterday’s attack at Wagah border,” said Core Commander Lt Gen Naveed Zaman while addressing the crowd.

He said today’s ceremony is a testimony to the fact that no one can dampen the nation’s spirit by perpetrating dastardly attacks. “My sympathies go out to the bereaved families,” he said.

He admired the ‘big-hearted’ Lahoriites who turned up at today’s ceremony out of ‘national spirit’.

On Sunday, a suicide bomb attack ripped through the crowd as they returned after attending a parade at the Wagah border, leaving 60 people dead and over 100 others injured.
