It is indeed most unfair that the Indian Government has taken this Political Step, but, they justify it by making it to be a step which will help the Pakistani Government to Co-operate with India. I cannot say for certain if the Indian Government will succeed.

You see Australia, New Zealand and West Indies also refuse to TOUR Pakistan. However they are prepared to play with Pakistan in their own country as well as play Bilateral Series with Pakistan in a neutral country.

The trouble is that even the Members of the Indian Cricket Team are now inclined to say that ‘’We will not play Cricket with those responsible for Kargil and other Terrorist attacks in India’’.

As all other Teams are coming to India we Indians are forced to accept our Government’s decision, with reservations of course, as we cannot say that Indian Cricket will be destroyed if Pakistan does not play with India.

I cannot agree that playing Cricket with India is important to the Pakistani Cricket Team.

However I hope that the political climate between India and Pakistan improves so we can see our two Cricket Teams playing each other.

My good friend we are lucky that India beat Pakistan as well as New Zealand.

However there is no point in jumping up and down in a jingoistic manner. Cricket, like every other sport, is a game of Chance and it is usually the better team on the day of the game who wins.

What would you do if instead of India beating Pakistan on the First of March it was Pakistan that had beaten India? India might not have even got to the Super Six Stage.

So rejoice in India’s Victory but there is no point in casting aspersions on the Teams that lose to India. Tomorrow India might be wearing the ‘’LOSERS’ SHOES’’.

Firstly the Indian Team had been allowed to proceed to South Africa and Play Pakistan in the World Cup. Now you will appreciate that the players cannot go against their Government. As regards visiting Pakistan the Indian Government has not permitted.

Secondly I think all these actions are for Money.

Pakistan to push ICC on Indian boycott

JOHANNESBURG, March 16: Pakistan will push for sanctions against India for refusing to play Test matches against it when the Executive Board of the ICC meets here later this week, a top official said on Sunday.

"We want the matter to be taken up seriously because India's refusal to play us is hurting the game in the region," Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) director Chishty Mujahid said.

The Executive Board will meet here on Saturday, a day before the World Cup final at the Wanderers.

The Indian government has banned bilateral cricket with Pakistan since June 2000 in protest at Islamabad's alleged support to Islamic militants in the disputed Kashmir region.

But both teams face each other in multi-nation events like the current World Cup where India and Pakistan played in the preliminary league at Centurion on March 1.

The match passed off without an incident as India recorded a comprehensive six-wicket win.

India is scheduled to tour Pakistan for a three-Test series next month, but the visit is unlikely to take place.

India are committed to playing a tri-series in Bangladesh in mid-April featuring South Africa and the hosts.

"The writing is on the wall, the Indians will not be coming to Pakistan, although we have not had any official word from them," Chishty said.

Under the 10-year Test programme of the ICC, India and Pakisan are scheduled to play four series till 2010.

Indian cricket chief Jagmohan Dalmiya had earlier this month urged the federal government to allow the April tour of Pakistan to go ahead to prevent India from being isolated on the world stage.

"If India do not play against Pakistan, the equilibrium of world cricket will be severely affected because the World Test Championship cannot be decided," Dalmiya wrote to sports Minister Vikram Verma.

India last played a Test match in Pakistan in January 1990, while Pakistan toured India in 1999 despite threats from Hindu fundamentalists to disrupt the tour.

"Pakistan's hopes of organising a tri-series with England and Zimbabwe next month to fill the void left by India did not bear fruit," Chishty said.-AFP

India would like Pakistan to reciprocate the MFN Status given by India to Pakistan. Pakistan Refuse. India can DO NOTHING.

India wants Land routes access to Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics. Pakistan refuses. India can DO NOTHING.

India has asked Pakistan to hand over the Indian Gangsters & Terrorists sheltered by Pakistan. Pakistan. Pakistan refuses. India can DO NOTHING.

India has asked Pakistan stop the Jehadis and other Terrorist in Kashmir and other Parts of India i.e. Stop Cross Border Terrorism. Pakistan refuses. India can DO NOTHING.

So :

India stops its Cricket Team playing Pakistan – PCB loses big Money – USD 20, 30, 40 0r 50 Million – who knows. Pakistan can DO NOTHING.

India also refuses to take Gas from Turkmenistan and Iran via Pakistan. India refuse. Pakistan ends up losing USD 1.50 to 2.00 Billion per year as Transit Fees. Pakistan can DO NOTHING.

The only good thing is that although Pakistan does not allow Indian Artists to perform in Pakistan at least the India allows Pakistani Artists to perform and Earn Big Money in India.
